Chemistry, cohesion, leadership, being on the same page, Fitz looking for input from players, teammates seeing that their voices aren't dismissed, Chan's play calling ect... These are all signs pointing in the right direction. Chemistry and cohesion CANNOT be overstated.

Well said DrDankenstein.

Prediction: Chiefs 27 - 13 Offensive Enthusiasm Ends
Pilsner replied to box0life's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I sure hope Fitz and the offense can keep it going and begin to light it up on a consistent basis. If this happens, it would be reality as well. (Reality doesn't always have to be negative. It can have a positive outcome too). btw my fantasy team has been struggling, so I recently added Fitz, Lee, and SJ. Fred has been on my team for several weeks. Hoping for continued fireworks this week. Time will tell. -
Right on!

You don't have to agree with me. Just keep your eyes open though. Always try and be aware of what's going on.

Actually there is Evil in the world. The Bilderberg Group. Most people are just not aware of them yet.

You're right. Also I think Hplarrm and Meathead brought up some good points as well. I don't believe that spanking should be used in every case. In fact it's a last quick resort. In an ideal society talking it through with a child should suffice. That's wishful thinking though. As Meathead said not all children are logical. You hit the nail on the head when stating that too many adults are quick to turn in parents. The problem with America is laziness, the fact we jump to conclusions too fast without bothering to get all the facts, people not willing to find a middle ground, thinking one's own view is always correct and not considering all viewpoints before making a decision... Actually too many problems to list. Ok time for me to think of the positive qualities in people. This list is long as well. I hope all us Bills fans have a great day today

Codero Howard to Start At Right Tackle...
Pilsner replied to BillsPhan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Cordaro will get his ass kicked for a while. But that's fine with me cause at least he'll learn and get better. Cornell Green? Please... He's prolly already looking forward to his retirement years and spending more time with his family. Might as well give Howard more xp and see what the fellow can do. Let him suck wind and level up. We need to find out what our young guys can do. We already know what our old guys can't do. -
I was spanked as a child when i deserved it. I knew i deserved it and it didn't deter me from growing up to be a somewhat decent adult. If a child can't take a good spanking when it's called for then what is this world coming to? Geez future lil kids, grow a set and take a good spanking when you're bad. Learn to grow big and strong. Set the bar higher. Grow some thick skin.

Spice? As in from the sand worms of Arrakis? Some of my buddies prolly already kno of this new spice but i don't. Synthetic usually isn't healthy for the palette.

Billsnut, I can sympathize with you on this one. I've been rejected in my love life as i'm sure all of us have been at some point in our lives. It seems you love this lady, and you've been thru a lot. The only thing I can say is you can't make a lady love you. Or keep loving you. As much as your heart wants her you just gotta let her go. Even tho your heart doesn't want to hear this, your mind does. A new stage in your life is upon you, and try and take it as calmly as can be and move on (even though it isn't easy). Losing a love isn't easy, I can attest to that. This may sound harsh, but you've prolly heard that people do change their feelings from loving someone. Some people don't take this well. But some with careful thought and consideration realize in time that it opens a door. So take your time and with the support of friends close to you, see that things will be ok.

As to Evil, I can't say. This generation is def oblivious to a lot of things though. Definitely doesn't know the hardships of the great depression, dust bowl, WWII, the Cuban Missile Crisis, and so forth. I never lived thru all that. But I read about it and learned. Our past generations have gone thru quite a lot. Maybe more than we'll ever know and see. So when our generation complains about something, I don't always take the complaints very seriously. Learn from the past, lest you repeat it.

This is prolly the one thread that will never end. Might as well put it on an endless loop. Props to the OP tho.

I used to be high on Poz and had hopes for him. Now I think he's just an adequate player. Cornerstone? Nope. When I think of a cornerstone Bills LB, Bennett comes to mind. Talley is in the mix too. So is Conlan. But Poz? Sigh. From here the only way we can go is up. Go Bills!!

I just want to keep seeing more of Steve Johnson and Nelson and see what these two can do with more experience. I wouldn't mind Nelson getting a little more playing time though. Justin Armour, a blast from the past. He and Stenstrom sure looked good in college. Here's to hoping Johnson and Nelson turn into something worth talking about.

I would be working my ass off from the moment I made it on the roster as a rookie. It wouldn't take a speech by my boss to get me going. Everyone is different though. Some people are motivated by money, others by pride in what they do, and of course there is a combination of these and other factors. If any players checked out, then we didn't need them to begin with. You grow from perseverance. Just my 2 cents.

I would have to say a big NO. And I like the Buckeyes too. He has the leadership qualities of a Maurice clarett. He's putting up big stats but his professionalism is sorely lacking.

Its been nice knowing yall; Final notes and more..
Pilsner replied to Clippers of Nfl's topic in Off the Wall Archives
Well this was bound to happen. With such a bad start to the season it's not a surprise we're losing some posters who can't hack it. Just means we'll have a higher percentage of dedicated fans posting for now on. Good luck to anyone who leaves and finds another team to root for. Just don't come back when things finally get turned around here. -
Like a lot of fans here I would like to pick up a quality qb in the next draft. So far i'm leaning towards Luck. I read somewhere that he is dedicated to getting his degree before moving on to the next stage in his life. That doesn't mean he won't change his mind and that he will come out early. But what if he doesn't come out? Should our FO go for a Mallet? If Nix and Whaley think a Mallet or other qb is a franchise qb then fine, they will probably go for said qb. If they don't see a franchise qb then imo it's ok that they fill other holes. If Luck really is our guy and he doesn't come out, then fine, we wait another year and trade up for him when he does come out. I don't want our FO to rush and pick a qb just for the sake of getting a new gunslinger. We rushed with JP when we could have waited a year to get Rodgers. Maybe i'm more patient then some here, but to get the Right qb, I'm willing to wait. If Luck isn't the Right qb for us then that's fine too. Just as long as we find the correct one. When you rush with decisions mistakes can happen. When we pull the trigger for Our Right qb, then all our homework better have been done and it should be worth the wait.

What if Fitz gets hurt?
Pilsner replied to 12 15 11 7 10 11 7 5 14's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
If Fitzy gets hurt then that's life. We just make the best of the situation. Brohm will get more reps then. We're not going to the SB this year. If someone gets hurt then it just means their backup will get more experience. Can't fret too much about that. -
Attention KMart Shoppers: Jamarcus on Sale
Pilsner replied to BringBackFergy's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
If he keeps adding weight it'll come to the point when he won't be able to be sacked. He will stand in the pocket like a great redwood. Like the Pillsbury StayPuff man from Ghostbusters. "In the grasp" won't be called because no D lineman will be able to put his arms even half way around his girth. I think JaMarcus is onto something here. -
Nice post Promo. Keep to your guns. I think this mess will get rectified in time no matter how much some people complain.
-
I tend to go with this line of thinking as well Punch. Except i suppose i'm giving the FO a slightly more benefit of the doubt than you are.

Stop the Wilson bashing, just buy the team
Pilsner replied to gjv001's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Jim and Co could offer to rent the Bills for let's say 5 years with the option to buy on Ralph's passing. They just need to convince Ralph he will easily make it to 100. Ya silly notion. Anyway if Ralph wanted to ensure a lasting legacy with us Bills fans he would already have a serious plan set in place for the team to stay in Buffalo. Perhaps that plan is secretely made with Jim but Ralph sure isn't giving us any positive assurances. As to we fans buying the team that would be great if possible. I wonder what ticket price we would all agree on? -
Is it Time to Root for 0-16 Yet?

You don't ever quit. Once you start it can become a habit.
