  1. Lots of Bills fans at the game today, I would say about 35% on our side and endzone, about 15% Browns side and dog pound. We were well represented today.
  2. The flu is a virus, which is capable of mutating into many slightly different forms. The flu shot protects you against the most common forms of the virus they chose to use for inoculating. It doesn't prevent you from dying, it greatly reduces your odds of contracting the flu.
  3. I think we'll represent well. Earlier this week, tickets were more expensive for us than the Steelers game. I'll be at the game with my 2 brothers and 3 of our kids. My son is a Browns fans but everyone else is Bills fans
  4. That's the point I was trying to make to you. It's the end effect on a country and its people. You blew up a nuclear reactor with a weapon, it's an act of war because you inflicted violence and harm on another country. Doesn't matter the weapon. Certainly the definition of war will change because of the technology. Hardship, physical and mental harm will all have to be accounted for. The weapons are changing but it's the target and harm inflicted that truly define an act of war. Your definition of war is definitely very broad. But again, 44 had no authority to weaponize foreign intelligence agencies. Just because there were higher up people involved doesn't prove it was a concerted national government effort to use MI6 and GCHQ against Trump. A small group of people is certainly a conspiracy, but doesn't make it a broad based national conspiracy, or entire agency conspiracy. Back in the US, you think there are many, many other agents besides Brennan, Clapper, Comey, Strozk and the rest of the known bad guys knowingly trying to do this to Trump? Or was this the main group and subordinates acting under orders not fully aware of the false basis and lies behind it? I just prefer to wait for actual evidence as to how broad it really was because I believe a lot of foreign help was connections to the USIC bad guys and a dislike of Trump, nothing more. I also believe most of the significant US protagonists have been identified and most of the lower agents unknowingly assisted. But we'll see. Also, we're mostly on the same page about the conspiracy and Russia/Obama media dichotomy. Obama and our IC's behavior is definitely the most frightening part. And I'm not ready to believe that Trump ran on ending your shadow war. Most people like me voted for him because we hated Hillary more and having a businessman outsider to rile the morass of government was a good thing, not specifically because of "fighting the deep state". I'm not saying you're wrong, but more needs to unfold before I acknowledge that your perspective is the correct one.
  5. Sedition can be argued. But there is no violence or weapons associated with these acts so there is no treason. US law was written this way in deference to kings and totalitarians using "treason" to persecute their "enemies". The intelligence services? No, can't sell that dog unless you can prove an organizational effort from the top down. Just because you enjoy conspiracies doesn't mean every individual act is a indicative of a systemic conspiracy. Russian meddling, absent any proof of vote corruption, was simply a political stunt and I think you know that all too well. I don't give a damn what the media tries to say, even if Russia had managed to hack our system and significantly affect the vote count I doubt we declare war on them militarily. How so? I mean, the weapons have gotten more advanced and remotely controlled but it still involves forcible acts of violence against people and countries.
  6. Yes, let's back up. First off, there's a yuge difference between overthrowing a legitimate government versus attempting by fraudulent means to have a president impeached. If Trump gets impeached and Pence becomes president there is no governmental overthrow and certainly no coup. None of his fraudulent accusers have assumed power politically, militarily, or altered our system of government. Where's the treason? Act of war? England, Italy, France, Australia committed an act of war? Are you insane? Did citizens and agents within these countries play a role in this fraud? Where does this balloon into entire countries committing acts of war against us? Please realize the fact that since we are still on friendly terms with all these countries, maybe you should reconsider your take on this as being too extreme and ignorant. Our country and certainly congress do not recognize these as acts of war, even if they did it is not done by force so no treason. I am no lawyer so feel free to discuss but let's do the dime tour. Treason in the United States: SECTION 3. Clause 1. Treason against the United States, shall consist only in levying War against them, or in adhering to their Enemies, giving them Aid and Comfort. No Person shall be convicted of Treason unless on the testimony of two Witnesses to the same overt Act, or on Confession in open court. Levying war against the US: The assembling of a body of men for the purpose of effecting by force a treasonable object; and all who perform any part however minute, or however remote from the scene of action, and who are leagued in the general conspiracy, are considered as engaged in levying war, within the meaning of the constitution. Enemies: enemy of the United States means any country, government, group, or person that has been engaged in hostilities, whether or not lawfully authorized, with the United States Hostilities: The term “hostilities” means any conflict subject to the laws of war. The laws of War: the law of war is that part of international law that regulates the resort to armed force; the conduct of hostilities and the protection of war victims in both international and non-international armed conflict; belligerent occupation; and the relationships between belligerent, neutral, and non-belligerent States. So, to answer your question, an enemy of the United States (whether foreign or domestic) is engaged or has engaged in armed force or violence against the US or its citizens, etc. And people who aid and support these enemies are also guilty of treason. Where has that happened here? There is no treason.

Who's the enemy within who is committing acts of war to overthrow the country and change our form of government? You want to argue it is a coup, fine. But treason is just plain stupid, on par with the far left's TDS. I daresay the people you feel are treasonous would argue they have acted out of a sense of loyalty to their country, Trump's behavior unbefitting a US President and therefore anti-American.
  8. I'm not a baseball fan. Can anyone tell me how long the impeach signs were allowed to be up?
  9. Yes, given our history there's a significant chance it may be a fluke. Winning trumps whining. Consistency then respect.
  10. Who cares how the media treats us? Just win, our record will say it all. For once, we have an easy schedule this year.
  11. Dad and friends say James acts like a boy, wears boy's clothes with dad (over girls clothes). Mom's a pediatrician, insists James be called "Luna" by dad and anyone who comes into contact with him and begin the psychological evaluation process for hormone therapy to transition. Oy. Maybe this 7 year old is affected by the divorce? What kind of parent pushes for risky hormone therapy so young? The kind a jury favors I guess. Wow.
  12. 500 record when they mostly schedule the toughest opponent they face at home for the white out game. 8-8 overall, or 6-6 if you reject the early games that were "student only" whiteouts. 2005 was one of those "student only" whiteout games against Troy Smith and the Buckeyes. I remember that game and a strong buckeyes team being rattled by the atmosphere. The entire stadium was white, but whatever.
  13. Darnold was bad, but his OC and receivers should be stepping up and sharing the blame. Entire offense was incompetent at handling the pressure and did nothing to help Darnold. 3rd pick that Gilmore got, seemed like the receiver had his head up his ass and never adjusted and broke off his pattern to the blitz. For Darnold, just have to learn and throw away that game. For Jets fans, concerning how truly poorly he threw off his back foot. Let's face it, every NFL QB will have to do it with short range proficiency in the face of pressure. If we can stay healthy, I'm very much looking forward to our rematch with the Pats. Our coaching and QB are better, if JA and the O continue to develop, that should be a great one.
  14. He has hurt the league's image badly even though they had nothing to do with what he was protesting. Worse, he used the league as a platform to draw attention to his controversial personal beliefs. That sets a dangerous and uncontrollable precedent for the future and is why the NFL shut him out. Does it really take collusion for all NFL teams to realize this guy is simply bad for business even if he could help your team?
  15. Kap had a respectable resume for a potential backup quarterback. Better QBR than Elway. To all those who argue he's not playing because he's not good enough: Post controversy, has any team even brought him in for a workout to kick the tires? The Denver trade/offer was pre-controversy.
  16. Dems truly need some fresh blood. Front 3 just aren't going to cut it. If this trade deal with China comes through, they won't win without someone new.
  17. Actually the interesting thing that occurred to me is what it means to either side if Trump were assassinated( and no I don't want nor advocate that) Buying in to the theories, deep state is trying to drive the narrative Trump is everything bad. If he were to go away of course the left would be blamed but it would also be an opportunity to change the narrative. Nirvana for conspiracy folks!
  18. Should be no fine right? Just part of football. Earl Thomas turned his shoulder slightly when making the hit. Any time a defensive player chooses to make a high hit and misses resulting in helmet to helmet first contact he should face stiff punishment. Whether Jones or Earl Thomas. Thomas wasn't trying to tackle Rudolph
  19. Jones was clearly going for the high hit and arguably wouldn't have if Josh didn't have another defender on him. He executed an illegal hit and it's a shame he didn't get fined. The impetus should be on the defender to execute his choices properly.
  20. Well, you should tell your friends they're waiting too long. The left and msm is controlling the narrative and a lot of people buy in to the Trump narrative and are too mentally drained to look beyond the headlines. If and when prosecutions come I would bet it gets framed as Trump persecuting his enemies. And even if yours is the truthful side it might just get buried by the propaganda and activism. To me, it seems imperative DOJ/IJ get some kind of real counterpunch going and quickly. Otherwise I'm afraid it will cause a lot of unrest and violence with the truth being drowned out.
  21. No, I think you should listen to this guy first: https://www.newsday.com/sports/football/jets/qbs-need-four-years-says-polian-1.3672661 “You have to try and give him an offense that’s capable of, A) protecting him and B) taking some of the load off him,” Polian said. “If you look at Peyton’s career, every rookie quarterback struggles. And quarterbacks are not complete until after about their fourth year. In their first year, they’re simply flummoxed by the speed of the game and the complexity of it. They just barely survive. After an offseason, they begin to learn what the game’s always about. In the second year, they learn what the defense is trying to do to them. In the third year, they learn what they can do to the defense. “And in the fourth year, they’re capable now of being able to control an offense to manipulate a defense -- if they have the wherewithal, obviously, to do that. That’s the progression. And it doesn’t matter whether it’s Peyton Manning or Tom Brady or someone else. They all go through that progression.” I'd say this is about where Josh is and we all hope he takes a step forward after getting schooled by Belichick. I question that full fire is the best approach for him because he'll simply revert back to hero ball like last Sunday. It's his base mentality and it needs to change, that is very difficult considering his immense talent and I think it'll take far longer with your approach than if our coaches carefully structure the game plan to help Josh develop as quickly as possible. Josh needs development, help him develop so it happens more quickly. For example, limit the playbook if it helps him go through his reads or recognize pre-snap pressure or weaknesses in the defense more quickly. Then you can open things up progressively. At this point in his young career, we've seen his talent and ability to pull it together late in games. I'd argue we need to guide his growth to consistency and proper mentality of managing the game. Whether he can truly manipulate the defense won't come until next year at best anyways, ie. we won't know for sure he's "the guy" until then.
  22. Both my kids have sustained concussions and my son will start high school next year. It's great info as I don't know how long it would take for me to track all that down. As a researcher, the BU work is a great wake up call but heavily biased data. There's a lot of blind panic about concussions and it's good to know what the current tests/protocols are. One of the interesting things about my kids' concussions is that after feeling normal and being cleared to play they experienced very mild, transient symptoms one to two weeks after. In the case of my daughter it was over a month after initial injury. Curious how it relates to the 7-10 days in adults. So much science still to be done here.
  23. Awesome post with great links. Thanks!
  24. Wow, so glad to hear Allen is practicing. Given the two headshots he took, he must not be too susceptible to concussion/post concussion syndrome.
  25. Absolutely. Not a fan of DB's taking that shot but at the same time it's football. Do it strictly legal or be punished. Josh needs to avoid those situations also. Burfict's intent was to use his helmet. Jones' intent was to deliver a high shot and he did it with his helmet. End result is the same, vicious concussion inducing hits. Not saying both should be punished equally but both need to be significant. Jones at a minimum should be fined and I'd like to see at least a one game suspension
