  1. Have to agree with you ... this has to be proof that someone has opened the Christmas Egg Nog a wee too early because there is no substance to this other than grab another cookie and sit back in your chair. I has hoping for more from Brohm but now is not the time. FITZ is our QB for now and the forseeable future; yes he will throw some bad passes and interceptions but more importantly the team will follow his leadership and he is showing he can win games. MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!!
  2. There should be no doubt ... Chan is a top quality head coach ... he's turned the offense around and the defense is starting to get there too. For the commentator who mentioned Coach Perry ... I hate to say who was in charge of the NY BLUE IT's this past Sunday as the Eagles thrived against his second half defense. ... We are moving in the right direction and Chan in THE MAN!
  3. MAYBIn makes MAYBIN look as bad as anyone can ... Neither Moats nor anyone else can lessen the stature of MAYBIN who is lucky to have McCargo around so that he is not the only complete and total failure drafted in Round #1 by the Bills.
  4. MOATS is showing signs of being our first really good linebacker in a long time ... fire, drive, instincts, smarts and willingness to work at succeeding. POZ is slow and average but with MOATS at his side POZ has been playing much better ... he doesn't suck but he is not going to be great!
  5. Elevator music provides a better option than the GR duo. I will have to check WHAM online because I hate GR ... and GR hates the Bills and anyone who cares about the team!
  6. Mr. McIntyre is a bowling ball of energy. He gives his all every single play whether on O or ST. Sure he makes some mistakes but just love seeing him lead blocking! Glad ot know he loves being a Bill!!!
  7. We have kept a strong defensive backfield for years even with our losses ... Winfield's money demands were beyond anything anyone on this board would view as acceptable given the number of good d'backs in this league. Clements was almost in Winfield's category. Now Greer, he's one I would have kept and it was a mistake of the Bills to lose him. As for Dante ... all depends on the money. He is not in the top 10 safeties in the league. I cannot imagine any team grabbing him for elite dollars ... of course we have no sense of what the Bills are offering. Would love to see him back because he is a 'Buffalo-attitude' guy but let's not break the bank for him ... I want a monster LB or DE. As for Byrd ... I am giving him his sophomore slump but he's not a factor at all this season until the last game so am not about to think about 'enjoying' him because this season I haven't at all. No tight end coverage ... getting to receivers after large gains or touchdowns ... not stopping the run early in the runs development ... dropped interceptions or missed interception opportunities (oh wait, I could be talking about Dante too ....)
  8. Boy wouldn't it be a great idea to get some 'luck' and pick up a player who has not had a full college career and chooses to graduate early. All those thinking that luck rather than experience and smarts will help the team just need to remember a certain team (to be left unnamed) that saw a phenom defensive end from a top end college program based in Pennsylvania and decided just 'MAYBE' this will be a steal so let's draft him with our #1 ... we will be such winners. It's not about luck ... it's about putting a team together ... we are finally moving up. MERRY CHRISTMAS ...
  9. I definitely can live with FITZ as our QB for next season and perhaps the following one. The clear need on the Bills is a defensive stud either at linebacker or DE who plays with fire and reckless abandon. I was thinking about Easley too ... remember how many of us thought he was the steal of the draft with the potential of being rookie of the year well you add him to the receiving corps of Evans (yes, I still think he is worth having), Johnson, Parrish, Nelson, Jones, and Naaman ... what super weapons plus I agree Spiller will be better. Freddie Jackson hopefully will be recognized for the talent he is and our OL is actually becoming an asset (check out the blocks that Mr. Bell is making over at LT) with some of these mid-season pick-ups plus the free agent guys. So on offense we need a tight end since Nelson's migraines are going to cost him a career. It is defense where that one special guy when added to Kyle Williams, Troup, Carrington, Moats, Poz (Moats makes him a better player), and our d-backfield will move this team up to the next level. So, give me a FITZ ... oh wait, Jimmy Clausen would have turned us around just look at Carolina ... I don't want another headline grabbing college superstar when we have a QB with guts and smarts .... but we do need to find a QB to move up in a few years, might be Levi.
  10. SHAN SHAN SHAN ... give him all the millions he is demanding ... he will bring the best out in his players and deliver the best assistant coaches .... oh wait ... funny how a close examination of a "former Super Bowl coach" can show that they just don't seem to have that magical success when they move on. Can anyone say LUCKY and JOHN ELWAY? Give me our CHAN over their SHAN any time. The ego's these coaches have who name their sons to have controlling power with their teams. Poor poor Dan Snyder has SHAN Squared and the Bills have a coach who seems to have his act together. Even though our record isn't what we want ... you can see the forward movement and the coaching abilities blended with humility and honesty in Chan Gailey. Oh, by the way ... some of the SHAN demanders for our Bills also were begging for Donovan too ... funny how things turn around.
  11. I have several friends who have major uncontrollable migraines that make them unable to do anything ... can't even imagine trying to play football with them. Sadly there are no reliable meds to truly stop them. Nelson may have had the potential but if the migraines can't be controlled he is not worth having take up a roster spot.
  12. He has made POZ better.
  13. It made my morning to see a positive post like this! Any win will be great! Hope 'the 12th Man' is in full force today! Our Bills are moving in the right direction with Chan so I can't wait for the game to begin!
  14. He is doing it on the field and if there is anyone whose efforts deserve a big pay day it is Stevie! Show the team & league that the Bills want talent who produce on the field and have character off of it.
  15. I saw him make a couple of special team plays - he was hustling and appeared to be more capable than unnamed Penn State DE/LB. Spencer has been playing decently but let's see what Covington can do the rest of the season.
  16. When your linebackers fail to tackle the work of your pro-bowl NT goes to waste. Every single Sunday Kyle is taking up two Offensive linemen so the advantage becomes ours ... maybe, just maybe we have turned a corner with the run D but we will have to see how this all plays out over the next few weeks. If we had one terrorizing LB Williams work would be getting more notice ... our LB's are great at catching runners from behind ... we need someone who gets in their faces and tackles them rather than hoping their body bump will do the work.
  17. Clearly you had too much turkey because there is a benefit having two quality backs especially one that provides the options that Spiller gives us. I love Fred Jackson and was ticked when he wasn't our #1 at the start of the season but based on what 'The Beast' has done in Seattle, I am glad we showcased him because we probably obtained the best deal possible for him. As we see Gailey's offensive mind start to become reality on the field it's clear having someone like Spiller in our arsenal only bodes well for the offense. Just pause for a moment and think about these offensive weapons that now are providing benefits: Stevie Johnson and Lee Evans as our starting WR's The Following Group of now proven WR's who can stretch the field, catch the ball in tough situations, and be assets on the field (Who couldn't be excited by what Donald Jones is showing?): Roscoe Parrish David Nelson Donald Jones And, waiting in the wings ... Marcus Easley Roosevelt Naaman Having Fred Jackson is a must but having just Fred Jackson leaves a gap if he gets hurt ... add in Spiller who can split out and once he 'learns' the NFL system he too will become dangerous I am feeling good about the entire offense ... now that GRAMPS has been cut these new young linemen have been holding their own and Bell keeps looking good at LT. So ... on to the linebacking group that must be fixed.
  18. And, I thought it was this underwear that is really starting to stink up the place.
  19. Promo please help correct this confusion ... the media experts are always right ... Kiper and crew at draft time ... look at the mighty achievements of Claussen, who the Bills should have picked with our #1. The media can never be wrong ... and who in their right minds would want a hick loser like Chan Gailey ... no no no ... let's bow down to the media gods and start calling in our lists to the GR guys who always have it so right!
  20. Time to get out the extension paperwork and sign him to a big bucks contract that keeps him here!
  21. The offensive line is maturing ... it really does take time for rookie and near rookie players to adapt to the NFL. Bell is improving and doing a good job at LT and the rest of the line has been pretty solid since 'Gramps' went down with his injury. But, in the end ... anyone want Shanahan still? I am so glad we have Chan!
  22. You would think ... that just playing in the NFL for millions of dollars would fire up players! Obviously this incredibly bad officials' call was enough to tick off anyone who was watching the game but I'd like to see the D motivated just by the desire of winning next week and come out fired up!
  23. He made one really good ST play, which hopefully impressed the coaching staff to keep in the game rather than watching with the maybe's of the world.
  24. Have to admit this is really a bizarre posting ... the Bills were a real team; they were the best in the AFC; and it just happened that on that one Sunday they were not ready for the Cowboys. I continue to express pride in the reality that the Buffalo Bills may very well be the only team that ever wins four consecutive Conference titles because in the era of free agency and parity I doubt another team every will. But, come on ... celebrate this win! We have won two in a row versus "real" teams that compete in the NFL ... now the challenge is Pittsburgh!
  25. WECK needs to do a post game show ... someone needs to for all of us who live out of town ... Huge comeback ... Fitz poured it on and yet Bulldog still is dreaming his bizarre dreams! I think it's time for him to start a post game list game of people's favorite cities to visit because Bulldog seems more comfortable doing that then talking BILLS football after a second win in a row (I know it's not the stuff of Super Bowl titles but come on ... we want to savor this moment because these mixed up Bills have actually beaten two NFL opponents in a row including a come from behind road win where after they got screwed by the officials at the end of the 1st half the team could have just given up.).
