  1. Then he did THE EXACT SAME THING IN OVERTIME. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? He does not learn from his mistakes. How many times do I have to see that, or the 3rd down and short pass with less than 2 minutes left and having a lead. Denver 2007, Cowboys 2007, Jets 2008. This guys makes the same mistakes over and over and over again - and they are mistakes that pop warner coaches would never make. Give me a god damn break and FIRE THAT DICK.
  2. Deal. Ill throw in Ellison if you throw in the box so I can carry the pizza.
  3. Why is it rediculous to expect the 11th overal player in the draft to make an impact right away? Other teams picks do it all the time. Both Stafford and Sanchez are playing well, we all know what Ryan and Flacco did last year, but I have to wait 3-4 years to call JP sh*t? Oher has started every game this year and has been solid. Orakpo, who has made a position switch, has 15 tackles and 2.5 sacks to go along with his 5 starts. Yet I cannot be pissed at Maybins 3 tackles and nearly invisble play? Dont tell me to give him time when time and time again there are players who are ready to go that we pass on. No one thought Maybin would be able to produce in his first few years, and by the time he is good his contract will be up and he will be playing elsewhere. We get nothing out of our top picks. Enough projects already draft guys that are NFL ready.
  4. You missed the "In My Opinion" acronym. I doubt he wins the Heisman, but if I had a vote, I would vote for Suh. This is because I believe he is the best player in the country - which is who the award is supposed to go to.
  5. Dont worry, Im sure there is some 230lb DE out there we can draft instead.
  6. You should hope Gruden is the next coach of our beloved Bills. He will have 5-6 QBs in camp competing for a starting job.
  7. I think you mean Locker from Washinton. Great athlete, but doesnt pass as much as you would like him to. That doesnt mean he cant pass however. I have seen highlights and he can throw well, but I havent seen a game of his so I dont have an opinion on him. I do know I want an LT or Suh way before a QB however. IMO there are plenty of solid veteran QBs who could start for us until a rock solid QB prospect - like a Ryan or Sanchez - come out in a year or two. Im not sold on any of this years guys and our OL is not good enough. Period.
  8. I agree Byrd is solid and is a better coverage option than Scott. Byrd seems to be right there with run support as well. I wasnt trying to rip on Byrd, just point out that this week seemed to be the week to really jump on his bandwagoon, and I wasnt sure if it was because of that pick or not. Maybe we will get a QB hurry out of Maybin this week. Babysteps....
  9. Suh is a stud, but I have never seen him play DE. IMO he deserves teh Heisman, and will be the consensous #1 prospect. I agree with Maybin 100% You could see in college he played with no strength or leverage. Our only hope is to go 3-4 and pray he can play rush LB. In that case Suh would look great at 3-4 end. Its halftime of the OK State right now and Okung looks very dominant at LT. I have pretty much focused on watching him and only him, Okung looks like a solid option in the top 5. Okung/Suh/McCoy/a handful of DEs. We should add a top line prospect easily. (Although I said the same thing last year with Smith, Smith, Monroe, Oher, Orakpo, Raji....and we get Maybin? WTF)
  10. Why does everyone love Byrd all of a sudden? He has made some nice tackles, and it is good to know he can tackle. But when a FS makes that many tackles it means the other 10 guys suck, not that he is that great. Was it the interception? If so that ball was throw 10 yards off target, to the middle of the field, and Byrd just BARELY got there for the pick. If it was a half decent throw he is burnt for a TD. Not an impressive play. His tackling is nice to see, I just wish someone would make a tackle before the ball carrier got to Byrd.
  11. What do you guys think Kelsay is worth....
  12. If we are going to play a 4-3 in 2010 and beyond we should just trade Maybin for him and a pick or two. Maybin could play LB in the 3-4 for them. He wont be ready to play as an every down DE for a couple years. I am tired of waiting.
  13. What about playoff teams? Did those Jets make the playoffs? I think they did. 25 games since beating a .500+ team, 42 agaisnt teams that make the playoffs. Man that sucks.
  14. According to law, Ralph cannot keep the team from his wife, without a prenup. given Ralphs age, I assume he does not have a prenup. Therefore he cannot will the team away from her, she is going to get a min of 50% of everything he owns. The other 50% he could will to others... Thats just the law.
  15. Yea, send a message to RW. Im sure he has a facebook account.... The guy still uses morse code
  16. 100% disagree. As a basketball or hockey coach you dont have complete control because the game is continuous and the best athletes win. They are games that are more designed as a pick up team. Football is different. after every play there is a huddle and they are given an exact set of instructions. Those intructions are the plays designed by the coach. The coach prepares the players to perform those plays. Coaching in football is SO much more important than in any other sport.
  17. I agree. He was very accurate but the ball was never on a frozen rope and some of the sideline routes he threw are pick sixes in the NFL. I will say however it looked more like he has the arm strength, but wasnt using it? Strange to say but it looked more like he was putting a lot of touch on passes that should have been darts. Good QB but I dont think he has much to offer in the NFL at this point (I only saw the first half of tonights game, and this was the first game of his I have seen) I liked the Cinncy QB from last year more, I forget his name.
  18. My 70,000 owner comment was somewhat of a joke aimed at the Fish. But doesnt anyone know how plausible it is that one billionaire buys 51% of the Bills, and then 35,000 fans could buy say a small part of ownership for $10,000? The Bills get one "owner" with a lot of small investers/part owners. I assume the NFL owners wouldnt aprrove of this.
  19. Its a matter of debt. A highly leveraged team in LA or Toronto is not as profitable as a mush less leveraged team in Buffalo. The Bills have one of the highest ROIs in the NFL.
  20. I cant find the article, but the Ram deal is for roughly 700-750 Mil. The Viking solds for 600 Mil. in 2005. http://news.minnesota.publicradio.org/feat...msb_vikingsale/ The Dolphins sold 95% of the team for 1.1 Bil ecently. http://nfl.fanhouse.com/2009/01/20/wayne-h...o-stephen-ross/ I think Miami because of the city is worth a lot more. St. Louis is a much bigger city too and would be worth more if the team was not sh*t -- plus they have a very new/nice stadium. The Vikings sale IMO is the most comprable sale. If I had to guess I would say the Bills sell for $700 Mil. With a 70,000 seat stadium, that is 10k a seat. Count me in on that investment. To comply with NFL rules, the team will not be a corperation, but 70,000 part owners -- Miami has like 40 celeb owners now, whats 70,000 fan owners in Buffalo?
  21. Well, at least 4 fans will stay for the whole 1st quater.
  22. I have to disagree. Its football in the NFL. You have Fewell controling the D, AVP controlling the O. All April has to do is get out of the way and focus on game and clock management, and motivation. He still coaches the ST the way he always has, but when its 4th and 1 and a 3-3 game with 4 mins left, he wont punt he will decide to go for it. Add in a motivation speech pregame and at halftime and thats all he needs to do.
  23. I heard he got $1000 from Obamas stimulous package... The reason being it was shovel ready....
