  1. Brady was not touched. As far as I know there is no penalty for falling to the ground next to Tom Brady.
  2. I would give him league min this year, then money worthy of a 10th overall pick starting next season, on a 6 year deal. His rookie year is wasted, why pay for it monetarily or waste a year of his rookie contract? 2010: Hello rookie pay scale (good news for top 5 drafting Bills!)
  3. What I am really hoping for is that Ralphs heirs give Jim and his investors the last right of refusal to the sale of the team. Hopefully they give him some kind of home-town discount.
  4. Walker is such a funny situation. He should have never been hired AND he should have never been fired. Only in Buffalo
  5. The real arguement here is not about players but scheme. Any good football person knows the OL and DL are the most important units to a football team. A great football person knows that its in that order. The best defense is a good offense. The Bills O is never on the field because A they punt as often as they complete passes (and the biggest reason is cause the OL is terrible), and B this D cannot force a 3 and out. We need to have the ball. Fire the entire coaching staff. Even Aprils ST unit is having a terrible year.
  6. F that story. Really who the hell can get that mad that they tried to land him and couldnt. Go back to 2005, AFTER Brees had proven himself as a stud QB, he is a free agent. The Bills elect not to pursue him via Free agency, and draft JP instead. Talk about a commitment to losing.
  7. SUH - DT Nebraska. Best player in college hands down. Although we need a better DL, we need an OL MUCH more. I just dont know if there is a good enough LT for our top 5-8 pick. QB is a realistic option with a new coach and all but without a better line and coaching no QB is succeed.
  8. Our Woes are tied to the Endzones! Bring back the red!
  9. I want to win the lottery and buy the Bills but I dont want to spend a dollar for the ticket.
  10. Love you Billy, but I have to disagree. 1. Dick finds a way to lose that game no matter what (see JP losman vrs jets 2008. Playcall: JP Losman "sack-fumble-touchedown" roll out right). 2. One dumb luck win (Pats) and an ugly win vrs one bottom three team (TB) would not convince me this team is anything but a 4-12 team. This team sucks because the coach sucks. With a real head coach, we would be 3-0 and crush the Fish Sunday. With Limp Dick I expect 1-3 by Sunday evening with a whole lot of "we tried awfully hard but they are just a good football team". Hey Dick let me know when 0-3 is a good team.
  11. Yea because Jason Peters didnt hold out untill this off season....or wait.... You win games with the Lines, the the DBs
  12. Det. KC. Seattle, GB, SF, SD all have either A)Pro Bowl Caliber Ts, or B) Young recently drafted Ts. That also doesnt mean we didnt have a huge need at Tackle.
  13. Well im sure they love breasts.
  14. Saw on NFL.com that this week the No Fun League is altering their rules a bit and allowing players to wear pink to raise awareness for breast cancer. Here is a link to the Texans site talking about what some of their guys will be wearing. http://www.houstontexans.com/news/Story.asp?story_id=5640 Anyone know of any Bills sporting the pink?
  15. Absolutly. My friend and I have been saying it since the NE game. He takes plays off and it is noticable. Id say we are 80-90% on guessing run or pass from his pre snap body lang.
  16. Dick loves him some consistency (7-9,7-9,7-9), but do you think that its possible for us to go -2-18 and match his 2002 drop off!?!?!?!
  17. Well, I cant hate the guy for trying his best, which I am sure he is. I cant hate Ellison for being on the field, and I dont. But Ellison does suck something awful and has been just terrible this season. I blame Jauron for this.
  18. Yes it is good to see that someone else noticed Ellisons terrible play. Too many people remember the 2-3 big stops he made vrs NE/TB, look at his tackles/stats and go "Ellison is great this year" Well no he is terrible. Hate to break it to you but that is a FACT.
  19. Absolutly. There are a couple of ways to be noticed. One is that you make such good plays people notice you. Another is that you are so terrible people notice you. The average guys rarely get noticed because they dont make mistakes but also dont make huge plays. I have not noticed much from Mitchel this season, so he has been average. The entire second half vrs the Saints and NE I get saying "F***ing Ellison again, he s*ucks" as he allowed run after run and catch after catch. Mitchell is a strong side backer and blows up blocks well and turns the RB inside like he is supposed to do. Ellison over pursues or just straight up misses the tackle. He does not blow up blocks but rather is consumed by them which allows the RB to run inside or outside. Mitchel has been better in pass coverage and has gotten pressure on blitzes. You out there seem suprised that I think Mitchel is better than Ellison. What games are you watching that show any different?
  20. Well its hard to put it on one player, but you could say that for the Pats game. If Ellison does not play, we would have won that game. And no I am not only talking about the two TD catches, but the other 12-15 catches he allowed. Ellison also missed 3-4 key tackles vrs the Saints which resulted in 50+ yards of rushing for P. Thomas. People wonder why this team cant make the playoffs, its because those same people view Ellison as a good player. Ellison has been the absolute weakest link in this defense so far this season. Get your eyes off the stat sheet and watch the game for once and you will see what I am talking about. Then again maybe you wont...
  21. Harris, Buggs (before Poz injury), and Bowen (before he was cut) are all better than Ellison IMO. How could any of them possibly be worse? My vote is Harris.
  22. Have Parcells fire Jauron for us. Thanks
  23. 15+ touches a piece please.
  24. One or two good games does not erase years of terrible play. Why should we commend him for playing the way he should have been for years? He is having an average year for a starting DE and it only looks so good because we are used to such sh*t.
