McKelvin post game comments
High Mark replied to Glass To The Arson's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Fumbles happen. McKelvin fumbled at the worst possible time. That wont change the fact that he made the right decision to run the ball out and try to get under the 2 min. -
On many occasions I notice Harris playing inside in nickle situations. I doubt he plays inside however. In fact, I doubt Dick will do anything to make the team better. Expect Buggs to start the entire season.
-
He sounds like Jauron..."we tried really really hard..." Jauron is a loser and has made every player on this team a loser. If it takes 0-16 to get him fired then thats what a true fan should hope for. The Bills will never be above .500 with him or a loser like him in the organization. We need someone who gets the job done.

Brandon should assess Lynch's market value
High Mark replied to SDS's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Jackson is great but Lynch is still the best every down back on this team. I feel you need multiple backs and love what Lynch brings. However RB is the easiest position to fill in the NFL. Every year a 4th rounder makes a big impact on some team. It is because its more about the OL than the RB. Next season you could add a RB in the late rounds and replace Lynch's production IF you have a better OL, ie having a worse RB behind a better OL will get you the same amount of yards, TDs, etc. Trading Lynch for a great LT or DE (which would allow us to focus on the OL next offseason)would not be a bad idea but you wont get that. You would be luckey to get anything comparable to his draft slot as a rookie.... So trading Lynch is not a good idea. -
Yes. Harris is a college safety and has experience covering in space - albeit at the college level. But he cant possibly allow more catches than Ellison just did. He is also bigger faster stronger and hits harder. Not to mention he out played Ellison in the preseason. At least Harris's excuse could be "Im a 5th round rookie" and not "Im a three year starter but Poz got injured"

There is only one person to blame for this loss
High Mark replied to Virgil's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yea you are right. But in the event we had upgraded the position (which we did he was on the bench all night - Harris) would Ellison be playign for an injured Poz or would our new good LB. Ellison has no business playing a down in the NFL that is not a ST play. -
Poz is a real solid player and our D lost a huge piece of the puzzle tonight. Hopefully this coaching staff is forced to play Harris over Ellison soon. We all know they wont do it by choice. See Greer, Jackson etc.
-
Wow what game did you guys watch? He had those tackles tackling the guy he just let catch the football. He sucked. He was the worst Bill on the field tonight. If he is not on the field we win that game. Whether it is Poz, Harris, whoever. Ellison had the worst game of his career tonight. BTW, the one 3rd down stop the announcers gave to Ellison, it was Spencer Johnson. Ellison jumped on the pile.

Did anyone else notice that in the 4th quater the NE offensive play calling was "pass it to whoever Ellison is covering" I sure did. Check the stats http://www.nfl.com/gamecenter/2009091400/2...ots#tab:analyze Defense T-A SCK INT FF K. Ellison 10-5 0.0 0 0 We all know that he is not a ball hawking player. Go back and watch him get torched for 10+ completions in the second half. Including BOTH touchdowns. There is no excuse for him still starting. Please dont bring up the 1 or 2 good plays he made in the begining of the game, he was completely outmatched and everyone knows it. This team has multiple LBs who are better than him including Buggs and Harris and they should be starting. A good coach would get his best 3 Lbs on the field and let them play regardless of inside outside whatever. Dick has routinely failed this organization with his inability to evaluate talent and then not having the balls to do anything about it. This is just another obvious failure. Ellison has been starting for three years and has no business being a a starter in this league and yet he has never been benched. Kelsay, while he was having the best game of his career, has no business still starting too. The game was close but we all know too well it is all down hill from here. The one plus being AVP. He had the best Bills gameplan I have seen in years. Bottom Line is Ellison sucks and Dick just sucks that much more.

McKelvin was SUPPOSED to bring it out with 2:06 left
High Mark replied to Simon's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
100% right. He fumbled and that sucks, but it will never change the fact that me made the right play not to take a knee. Next time just go down easy and really cover up that ball. -
Inactives: Steve Johnson and Kirk Chambers top the list
High Mark replied to Lori's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Ellis and the two CBs are a suprise. Jauron must be convinced we wont need to rush the passer or defend 5 WR sets. -
Ok Ill give you the "it was the Lions" excuse....how many does he throw agaisnt us? I say 4
-
You mean he demands acountability? "What is acountability" -- Jauron
-
I dont know about Loadholt. He was a LT in college and really struggled in pass protection. I think as the season goes on he will let in a few too many sacks but be great in run blocking. I guess they are taking the good and bad with that approach.
-
While I like the spread and think it does have a placce in the NFL (See Pats of 2007) I would prefer a coach that runs a run first smash mouth O, with some play action pass in our climate. See Giants and Pittsburg.
-
Remember when we drafted Losman instead of signing Brees....
-
I say all the ones he has, plus maybe one more (Giants one). Brady, IMO is nothing more specail than his OL/Scheme. Just look at what Cassel did there last season. Peyton Manning on the Pats they are great, even better than they are now. Brady on the Colts and they are have the team they have been. Manning>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Brady
-
Why not trade for Tony Ugoh? Started at LT for Indy the last couple seasons, played very well, but has now been moved to the second string.
-
So lets assume that the talent is there. Lets assume this Oline can actually block for 16 games. Are you assuming we have the coaching staff to win that many games? That is the biggest assumption of all...

Guess Which Unemployed NFL Coach is Golfing
High Mark replied to CosmicBills's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
hiring a coach like Shanahan -- who would demand he be in charge of all personel decisions-- would mean that Russ would have to give up HIS GM title. Will he do it? -
hobel is 32. He's no longer the dynamic end who had 26 sacks in 2005-06. Last week, New England traded its 29-year-old Pro Bowl defensive end, Richard Seymour, whose contract expires after the season. Two years ago, just before Schobel turned 30, the Bills gave him a seven-year, $50 million deal. That says it all

Bell should holdout for more money
High Mark replied to Geno Smith's Arm's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Bell should hold out just to make us look more like a donkeys ass. As a true fan who actually wants to see some victories, .500 + seasons, and maybe even a playoff victory, I want this sh*t storm of a season in the winning direction. -
Bob DiCesare---Bills win between 0-4 games this year
High Mark replied to Big Turk's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
4 wins is a realistic ceiling for this team, but I do agree going 0-16 is highly unlikely. So what should we agree on, 1-4 wins?
