Yea, if you didnt fully expect a guy like Singletary to turn that team around you are clueless. The 49ers are one rediculous Farve throw from being 4-0. That is one damn good Minn team too, and it took that play to beat the 9ers. A coach like Singletary and a decent Gm could turn this team around by next season. I doubt it happens though.

I dont think its the roids at all. Its the knee. He was caught for roids before the '06 season. He sat the first 4 games of the year then came back to have 17 sacks in 12 games. The next season, over a year after stoping the juice (i assume) he had 12.5 sacks in 15 games. No thanks. Stroud is one of three starters on this team that have played in the playoffs. One of those three, Owens, will be gone after this season. We have no leaders on this team that have ever won in this league. I say we have to keep our best defensive player.

Why sign Runyan when we can trade for a 3-4 yr vet who has started at LT for P.Manning since his rookie year? Why sing D.Brooks when we can get a cheaper and, at this point in their careers, more athletic player in D. Johnson. Johnson played very well the last two season but is out of place in the 3-4. These players could be had cheap (draft pick wise) and also have no leverage for a new contract just yet. I guess teh question reamins - why do the Bills insist on sucking?

I would instantly trade for Tong Ugoh - former starting LT for the Colts who was benched not because of poor play but his former backup is simply better now, and Derrick Johnson - a very good 4-3 LB who is now on the bench because of the 3-4 switch, think J. Vilma. In one day the Bills would have added a veteran LT who blocked for the best O in football, and an athletic LB who can keep Ellison on the bench. This would cost MAX a 2nd, 4th, and maybe a 7th round pick. Once more, these are moves that could be done TODAY by the current folks in charge. Why commit to winning?

I am glad someone else shares the same view as me. I want to see the Bills win. The Bills will never win with Dick as HC. Therefore Dick needs to be fired. Obviously 7-9 is not bad enough to get him fired. Therefore I will route for the Bills to loose (which in a round-about way is routing for them to eventually win) until dead dick is fired. Well I think that is a great idea. If not lighters anything else will work. I dont think that much butane is dangerous waste but just the fact of cleaning up that trash is costly.
