  1. Who Called that play? Most certainly not DJ.
  2. Its Keither Ellison sucking, not Whitners absence.
  3. I predict we still lose.. Bills up 14-2 with 13:14 left in the game.
  4. Well said, he really seems to be Johnny on the Spot. We are lucky Delhomme has had some accuracy issues. On another note, just when I thought Ellison couldnt play worse, enter his Carolina game performance.
  5. I pray that SD somehow does not work somethign out with McNeil, AND we draft the top tackle in April. I like the idea of having a solid vet, but the OL is one of the most plug and play positions in football as far as rookies coming in and contributing. Having Butlet at G instead of T is not a let doen in vet leadership.
  6. You mean like the collective knowledge of this board? I agree 100% And we do all of thise by watching ESPN and dont have access to the BLESTO-V. Maybe they jsut over think these picks- IE is was so blatently obvious that Orakpo was a better prospect than Maybin, yet they passed....
  7. Maybin has 3 tackles, not sacks. On pace for an 8 tackle rookie year. Not bad for the 11th overall pick.
  8. To me the Bills needs were DE, LT, LB in that order. At 11, I wanted Orakpo, Oher, Cushing in that order. All three have been studs through 6 weeks. I loved the Wood pick, and Wood is now my Favorite player on the team. That being said the right move was still making a strong attempt to trade up for Oher. New England traded its first-round selection (23rd overall, used to select Michael Oher) to Baltimore for first- and fifth-round selections (26th overall and 162nd overall) Buffalo held the 28th pick, so its not a huge stretch to imagine them trading up. Trading with NE though is risky. I am happy with Wood, and cant blame teh FO for not trading with NE, but we REALLY need an LT. I would have been all over E. Brown - who IMO is much better than Maybin. Nelson was a no brainer. I called the Nic Harris pick, and if our mental midget coaching staff would play him, I am 100% confident he would be dominating. I really wish we traded back into the 5th to select G Duke Robinson from OK. IMO we still need OL depth and he is a mauler like Wood. a 6th and 7th would have been enough I am sure, so thats like trading Cary Harris (who was cut in training camp) and Lankster (who is good and I like). Lankster though has not been active once this season (we have too many DBs), and if one of our interior 3 OL go down, the back ups sucks. Robinson could start at G and shift Wood to center at somepoint in the future also.
  9. TO was a 100% marketing move to sell tickets, not win games. We are one more interior guy an a starting calliber LT of having a good OL. I like the idea of adding 2 starting caliber Ts, moving Butler back inside, and wood to center. Hang can spell any of the interior three spots, butler could slide outside, Merideth, Scott, and Bell could be back ups as well. The OL is still 2 players away.
  10. How has Ralph been 91 for a decade?!?!?! But yes you are correct - the entire org. blows. The coaches, the scouts, the film guys, all of them. Modrak and Guy? Really? Do these guys ever evauluate their performance?
  11. The run D aka somethign I will now refer to as "The Keither Ellison Effect" is 1/5 the DL, and 4/5 the LBs IMO. Ellison is terrible, but we were still solid against the run with him, Poz, and Mitchell. With those latter two out we have gotten worse each week. The biggest improvement we can make is get a LB who can fill a gap, take on a block, shed a block, and not over pursue - Ellison cannot do any of those things. He is the worst stareter on the team and worst LB on the roster, you simply cannot be worse than Keith Ellison. As for Cody, I love D lineman and for him to play with the strength and footspeed he does at 360+ is amazing. He is not a 3 down guy though because he would get too winded - he doesnt play many snaps for Bama. Suh or McCoy are better options IMO, but may not be availible. If this team goes 3-4 in 2010, Cody shoots up the draft board as far as need and talent goes, he fits that role better too. Again, I want Okung the LT before anyone else.
  12. Something I like to call "The Keith Ellison Effect" Aka the worst line backing football has ever seen.
  13. Not with Dick Jauron as head coach.
  14. No, I have confidence in Fitz. I am worried about what dumbass decision limp Dick will make that will, if all goes to plan, most certainly lose the game. How many times does that idiot have to run out the clock so his kicker can miss a 50ish yard FG while passing up the opportunity to make it a chip shot FG? I mean really, its a miracle Lindell made his second attemp after Dick made that same, foolish mistake just 20 minutes later in OT. Clearly he did not learn anything from the 2008 Browns game. What about our 4 min offense which includes incomplete passes on third down? Den, Jets, Cowboys....? When will this imbecile have the same working knowledge of football that my local pop warner volunteer coach has? I will bet the farm on NEVER. The level of idiocracy to which Dick Jauron has obtained is epic, simply epic.
  15. While Fewell is a dumb ass just like the rest of the coaches, he is right in saying our LBs suck and wont play their gaps. But in a way this is still Fewells fault. Ellison is never in his gap - BENCH HIM. That is your job as a coach, play the guys who give you the best chance to win. I dont care if we have injuries, play someone who will get it done.
  16. "Chris Draft - known for making the most un-athletic sack in NFL history" - Wikipedia Its too bad this b rate coaching staff wont wise up and play Harris. I mean really, how can he be worse than Ellison, Buggs, Palmer, Corto AND Chris "I have been on the roster for 36 hrs" Draft. He cant and he isnt. This team will never have a chance with this coaching staff keeping the play makers on the bench.
  17. All the guys you listed, except for Orakpo, are 3-4 guys - with Jackson being the only end. Maybin is a 3-4 LBers, so I think the comparison is unfair. But considering Orakpo is a much better pass rusher, and has proven to be a good LBer too, really makes you wonder who the Bills employ as scouts.... as if we didnt have enough evidence of their ineptness already.
  18. Exactly. Thats why you draft him. He is an NFL ready DE - in a must win year for Dick. Why take a flyer on Maybin when the best you can hope for is him becoming the player Orakpo already is? I am tired of 1st round projects who suck for 3 years then leave via FA. You are drafting the the top 11, that player should be a day 1 starter. I mean Crabtree is starting for the 49ers this week after a 4 month hold out and 2 weeks of practice. Sorry if I expect more from our selections.
  19. Maybe he heard from inside sources that Dick has been fired. That is my only guess.
  20. I agree we need DL help in the form of both a DT and a DE, but I dont think we can risk passing on a day one starter at LT again. I dont care how good our D is, if we cant block for our QB and RBs our team has no chance. I think Suh, and even McCoy, could be perenial all pro DTs but if a guy like Okung can come in an be a Joe Thomas or Ryan Clady (and I think he can be) I think we have to go OT first. as far as BPA would go, I agree that would likely be Suh. But as far as BPA to help the Bills, its Okung IMO. IMO the best way to improve our D is to cut Ellison and start Harris. As for QBs, it all depends on who declares. Clauson, Bradford, Locker, Mallet could all come out or they all could stay. If one comes out we wont be selecting high enough, if 2-3 of them come out we could draft one- in round one or even round 2. Tebow and McCoy are not first round guys. IMO none of the guys I listed will be good with our LT situation. I wouldnt put the cart before the horse and get a hot shot young QB without giving him an OL. I hope we can add Okung in Rd1, and add a guy like Locker/Mallet/Clauson/Bradford in the second if they all declare (which is not all that unlikely if a rookie salary cap is on the table for 2011). This draft could play right into the Bills hands. As of right now I like mallet the best, and trust me I am not one to fall in love with 6'7'' and throw it 90 yards QBs (J.Russel was the biggest joke of a draft pick in history, and has only been rivaled by Josh Freeman - neither was ever remotely worth a 5th round pick). Mallet has the mental aspects, and is only a first year starter. Other options are Quinn and Brohm who I still believe are worth giving a shot.
  21. Maybin/Ayers who cares. Orakpo is outplaying the both of them as far as PT and production, and is playing 2 positions LB and DE. He was the right pick at 11 if our Bills wanted to take the DE route, which was the obvious choice to everyone in the world expect for Kiper and McShay. There was no doubt in April, there is no doubt now, and something tells me that there will be little doubt in ten years. Now I wouldnt be upset if the Bills took an LT, but to take a DB sized DE like we did? Mike Mayock is the only guy worth **** as for as these ESPN draft idiots go. http://www.nfl.com/nflnetwork/story?id=090...mp;confirm=true Rated both Orakpo and Maybin as LBs, but look at how he placed them. "Aaron Maybin Penn State Can he sustain 250 pounds or stop the run?" - No.
  22. Because he simply cannot be worse than the worst coach in football, or else Ryan himself would be the worst coach in football, which he is not, because Jauron is. Confused? But being serious, Rex Ryans team beat the Pats in his first try, something that Jauron has not been able to do. His team was 10 seconds away from beating Miami on Monday night, while Jaurons was manhandled by Miami. Vrs Buffalo, Ryans team allowed 13 points in regulation, ran for over 300 yards, threw 5 interceptions, and only lost because of a botched FG snap - which ironically resulted in another interception. Somehow I think his gameplan didnt included 6 picks and a botched FG snap.
  23. I think you mean MS Dos
  24. "tackling?" -Perry Fewell
