  1. How can you use the words Maybin and promise in the same sentance without the word no?
  2. Does the tarp block the view of the field? Or just the players leaving the field?
  3. I watched Baluga for the entire game saturday. While he wasnt tested much as a pass protector, he was a force vrs the run. I cant say he is an NFL LT, but I predict he will dominate on the right side at least. Reminded me of Eric Wood with his leg drive and intesity. Very fundamentaly sound too (agaisnt the run anways). Okung Is a great pass protector, but not much of a drive blocker. I would trade my 2nd and 3rd rounders to move back into round one and attempt to draft both these bookends if possible.
  4. Well in NYS you dont need an engineer to build a house, only an architect. So what are you studying - Civil/mech/bio/elec/comp what? I would assume that it was gravity's fault.
  5. You see, Polian was wrong. There is a group very much like them playing in Indy.
  6. Cut TO, add Chambers, and resurrect Johnny U
  7. Kyle Orton in Denver. IF Edwards could play like he did vrs Miami/Oak/SD in years past every other week we would be fine at QB. Maybe Gruden can get that out of him...
  8. After reading all the replys, I will stand by my origanal comments that the ONLY reason TO was brought is was to sell tickets. The Bills were not a TO away from the playoffs, and I dont believe any concideration was given to Edwards.
  9. I said it before I will say it again. Trent not playing this week was a coaches decision, not a medical one (because it would not have been announced on Monday - anyone with concussion experience knows this). Dont drink the kool-aid.
  10. On my way home from the game yesterday, as I do after every game, I listened to 550am until I lost reception then switch over to 1180am, which broadcasts the officail postgame show in Rochester. On both stations, fans called im and left their two cents about how TO should be benched because he is not helping the team win, not giving 100%, saying he should have been traded etc. I am talking 3-5 callers on each station in the half hour or so I listened to each. This suprised me. Who actually thought that TO was brought here to win/try? He was a ticket seller 100%. Something like 8000 season tickets were sold the 24 hrs after his signing was announced, mission complete. There are no ifs ands or buts about it, TO was a 100% marketing move. Signing TO was not done for wins but for money - this is somethign I thought everyone understood and accepted, I guess I was wrong.
  11. Fast forwards to 2009. Maybin > Orakpo !? ........ The problems still exist
  12. My number 1 Bills priority is the firing of Jauron, followed by Modrack Guy etc. I dont root for the Bills to lose, I root for those guys to be shown the door. In all hontesy, the fate of those two things are tied together. Therefore, in some roundabout way, I guess I do root for the Bills to lose. I think many fans feels this way too.
  13. I have, and the results are in....rookie OL perform better and earlier than rookie LBs. I did not bold DL.
  14. I would trade Evens and TO for some quality tackles, that way wwe would get more production out of Reed/Johnson/hardy/Parrish. Passing has a little to do with the QB and even less to do with the WRs, its all about the line and the coaching/play design.
  15. Perfect example of why one needs to watch a game, Bell did not play well, neither did Meredith/Chambers.
  16. I will volunteer.... as long as I can fire Dick now.
  17. Fire Jauron!! Dated: 10/28/08
  18. They already sold the tickets, so why not?
  19. FYI - Harris played the "Roy" position in college (named after former Dallas Cowboy Roy Williams) which is a hybrid safety/LB position designed by Bob Stoops to defend the spread. Depending on the formation, he could line up as, and have the responsibilities of, the Mike, Will, free, or strong safety. No college team plays an NFL D on every down, they scheme to defend a variety of offenses. So, to address your comment, they did move him to linebacker while he was in college, but instead of being taken out for say a nickleback, he was the nickleback. These moves are talked about a little in this article http://www.nfl.com/draft/2009/profiles/nic-harris?id=71323 He was also a two time consensus All-American. Just sayin. Why are you so quick to rip a guy who has done nothing but perform and perform well? Hes not the next Ray Lewis, but he is already better than Ellison. MUCH better.
  20. Agree 100% about the O, but I feel too often no one wants to admit that the D cannot get themselves off the field. Constantly allowing 8+ min drives. These dont just occur once they are tired either. We need a lot of help in a lot of places.
  21. Agree 100% that Dick never players rookies, forwhatever reason, but Ellison has made more mistakes in one game than I have seen otherr plays make in a season. It is unconcievable to me how a multi year starter could possibly be that bad.
  22. Fix the line before we get some QB. Our offense sucks because cant run and pass, not just one.
