  1. Peppers, Dansby, (and once cut) A. Thomas here we come!!!!!
  2. Id rather have G Wilson at SS. Mays makes his money from his workout numbers, not his play on the field. Would you even know who he was if he wasnt 235 and ran a 4.4? He to so average as a football player. Eric Berry is way better thats for sure, but so is Earl Thomas. I agree he may be more of a LB conversion in a Tampa two than a safety. PS I am pissed his 40 was not in the 4.3s, I wanted Oakland to take him.
  3. My money is on A. Davis being our pick, which I would not be happy with.
  4. The line sucked yes, but the sacks could have been on TE too. Either way with a better coaching staff - say NEs coaching staff - we would have gotten a lot more out of Trent and the rest of our roster. We all know how bad DJs coaching was, and I think you guys agree with me, Trent should not be counted on or cut. Dont give him the job but give him a fair chance to win it with a new staff.
  5. I will say that Edwards got worse and worse as his career progressed. But Im fairly certain his coaching was well below NFL standards too. Now Im not saying I want to rely on him for the next ten years, or that I am opposed to bringing in a new QB, but I think not giving him a chance to win the job this season would be a mistake. He had great games vrs the chargers and Raiders bringing us back to win in the 4th. He even played very well vrs the Pats in the season opener on Monday night. He has played great at times and maybe a competent coaching staff can prepare him to play in the NFL? Lets not forget they never practiced against a 3-4 defense. Not even Brees/Manning/Brady could succeed with that poor of preparation. Lets not forget the switch just flipped with Brees, after the Chargers drafted Rivers.... Dont hand him the job but see if he can turn it around with a new - hopefully better - coaching staff. There is NOTHING to gain from cutting him
  6. Easily Tebow. Tebow has more upside than any other player in this draft. Yes I know how he throws funny, but he is working to change that. I would say its not likely he fixes it but when you look at his athletic ability and his determination I dont see him failing. Factor in his size, leadership, and other intangibles and he is a very high reward prospect. We are talking about him being taken in the third, Ill eat my hat if he is still on the board at our second.
  7. How did you come to be a Bills fan? Just curious.
  8. I for one agree. Robison and Snead look great in shorts but not so much in pads. they are worth a 6th rounders I guess because thhe could improve, but Im hesitant to draft guys who proved in college they werent very good. Id rather take a guy who started 1 year and player very well, displaying all the tools an NFL QB needs, or a guy with a much much higher ceiling.
  9. Not a bad thought for a coach on a short leash. Why would he care about the teams future when he wouldnt be coaching it?
  10. Unmotivated, and unprepared players scare me too.
  11. I hope he stays in Cle and we can get Quinn.
  12. I think that is the biggest fault in Evans game. Unless he can just run straight down the field like a track star, he never makes plays after the catch. Never jukes anyone, never breaks any tackles, he seems to catch and go down.
  13. Cut Kelsay (who posters tell me is slotted to play olb?) Ellison and Buggs. Trade Schobel Pup list Mitchell Sign A. Thomas, Dansby, Joey Porter Add Poz and Maybin Harris (not sure if he is a 3-4 guy at all, but he is on the roster) and Ellis = developmental back ups. 5 LBs to play with, with a 6th that can be added off the pup in we suffer an injury, and 2 younger back ups. We need some veterans, and LB seems the only place we can add quality FAs.
  14. OP: I like Iupati, but dont like the idea of making college guards NFL tackles. I believe that his college coach would have made him an LT long ago if he were best suited for it- its not like Idaho has tons of talent that kept him inside. Id be fine with him as the all pro G people suggest he can be. The Bills are 2 or 3 solid drafts away from being able to compete for a wild card. We cant afford to force anything (like forcing davis or campbell into the top 10 because we are desperate for an OT) in the draft and have the luxury ( if you can call it that) of being able to put off obtaining a top LT or QB because we are not desperate at any single position. Charles Brown from USC could be a LT available in the 2nd round, who could also play RT in the event we add the top LT next year. We can go may different ways, but if we added the next Steve Hutchinsen with the #9 pick it would be a great pick in the long run.
  15. He’ll [Kyle Williams] make plays at nose for us - Buddy Nix.
  16. Well aside from me quoting NIX - Yes, article says WIlliams will play NT on a rotational basis. Therefore, is he not the NT? No team plays one player at one position every play of their season. "Williams will make plays at the NOSE for us" Again, that is not jumping to conclusions. Suh could play all of those positions, and will play one of them depending on scheme. The differences between 1 techs in a 4-3 and 3-4 can be great. Suh will not be asked to play the nose in a 3-4, he will be an end. The OP in that thread was suggesting Suh was a 4-3 only player. I tried to find the thread but could not, I encourage you to post it to clear this all up. Its clear that I have backed my statements with quotes/videos, where you have been fabricating this repeatedly.
  17. You must mena this quote from Nix. Bills GM Buddy Nix seconded Chan Gailey's praise of defensive tackle Kyle Williams. The Bills think Williams can perform at nose tackle, at least on a rotational basis, in the new 3-4 defense, even though at 305 pounds he is not the prototypical size. “We did it some (in San Diego)," Nix said, of playing without a prototypical nose man. "Jamal Williams was hurt a lot for us. When he was out, we weren’t as good. We had to improvise and do some things with other guys that were smaller. Kyle Williams is an exception. You want to say 6-2, 6-3, 340 (at nose tackle). But there’s always exceptions to the measurables, and he’s one of them. He’s a playmaker. He’ll make plays at nose for us.” To recap: "He’ll make plays at nose for us" http://blogs.buffalonews.com/billboard/201...ix-on-kyle.html I really fabricated that one..... PS, I never said they were committing to him at NT. I said I was not thrilled with him being relied on to be the nose. My original statement can be reviewed here http://forums.twobillsdrive.com/index.php?...amp;hl=Williams In regards to Suh, Im not sure what you are getting at there, but I said Suh could be a FIVE tech in the 3-4 - ie the 3-4 DE. I never said anything about him playin the 1 tech in a 3-4. As far as 1 tech in a 4-3, then yes he could. (K. Williams is the Bills 1 tech if you didnt know that. Im pretty sure Suh is that same mold too.) He could be a 3 in a 4-3 as well. Suh is so talented he coudl survive anywhere and is scheme diverse.
  18. Well Im not sure how hiring a coach who repeatedly failed at all levels (NFL HC and OC, and college HC) and hiring an in house GM who is 70ish without even conducting an interview with a candidate from outside the organization can be so promising, but I sure hope it works! I wont be betting the farm on it working however...
  19. Your scenario has our OL still being one of the worst in the league. I guess it depends on ones assessment of dire.
  20. No they dont. That is 100% fabricated. Well, aside from them only showing him complete 1 pass, to an uncovered reciever with no rush or OL, A pass from the 15 yard line to the 50 yard line is only 35 yards. Try using a standard function calculator next time. Thank you. Apparently I did not recall correctly, the RC part of the IIRC. I never said it was fact. I thought I remembered it being in the 80s. Apparently it wasnt... maybe once calculated to "baseball spped" it was in the 80s. Who knows, sorry I didnt remember perfectly. I even said I wasnt sure and googled it to check, but came up with nothing. That is hardly me trying to make sh*t up. I never make up numbers to proof people suck. Lefevour sucks all on his own. The same way Maybin sucks all on his own. Last year everyone ragged on me for being so hard on him - saying he blew and had no strength or leverage. Well I dont look so dumb now do I. Lefevour is not good - sorry to burst you bubble. Now if you want to talk about people having agendas and making sh*t up... refer to my reply on Carolina Bills statement quoted above.
  21. 2nd rounder? All I have heard about him is how bad he is...
  22. his rough estimate had been that the fastest passes leave quarterbacks' hands at 70 to 75 mph Well, I was a little off.... But thanks for the numbers. AKA a 45-50% increase over Lefevours.
  23. Yep it was thrown at 3/4 speed because scouts are interested in how fast he can throw at 3/4 speed... Danny boy gets a solid hop step forward and throws it in there as best he can. Thats just all he has. I have watched his games and thats just how he throws it regardless of how much harder he should be throwing. This kid threw the ball 57 and 60 yards in his two "longest throw attempts" at that stupid QB talent show competition. I didnt even have to post that link to prove his arm is WEAK, because he already proved it was WEAK by throwing it 57 and 60 yards. This is further proof. He passes never had any zip, witch is quantifiable by ball speed. No one on thi board would say McCOys arm is strong, yet its stronger than Lefevours. The love fest with this kid is blinding everyones judgment.
