Looks a lot like 2008 all over again
spartacus replied to 8-8 Forever?'s topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
looks like I am not the one throwing in the towel after that Miami turdfest Bills will be lucky to win another game typical of the Bills to get in the Suck for Luck sweepstakes after spotting the field a 5 game lead -
If the Bills do in fact finish 5-11...

A Few Thoughts About The Game
spartacus replied to Bill from NYC's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
talk about jamming WRs There were many plays where the Dolphins had their entire defense within 3 yards of the Line, including both safeties There is zero fear that the Bills can beat them past 5 yards. Fitz can't throw accurately deep, the line can't block for more time needed to throw 5 yards, and the WRs can't catch anyway. The result is those short passes are stuffed as well as the running game since there are so many defenders at the line of scrimmage -

only in Buffalo can Chan and Buddy make Dick's 7-9 seasons an optimistic outcome - and have the fans give them full blown support -
did you watch the game? If Jones runs into the endzone instead of stopping and jumping, he has an easy TD catch One of the few Fitz passes that was actually well thrown. on a separate note, how many time are these WRs going to run patterns short of the marker on 3rd or 4 th down, including Jones?
-
Tebow may not be able to throw - but he won't have to since the Bills can not stop the run either Bills will be lucky to match the 7-9 of Jauron
-
bull hockey excuse every team has injuries Billls have $30 mil of cap room they could have used to get some depth
-
Jauron's perenial 7-9 is going to look pretty good after this season's implosion sure glad Wanstadt is stealing money from the Bills.

Stevie no-shows Rochester signing last night

yeah- makes a lot of sense for 2 teammates going from Buffalo to the same event an hour away to drive separately. -
Stevie no-shows Rochester signing last night

so why didn't Stevie drive with Fred to Rochester looks like he was planning to stiff all along or can't stand Fred -
A Few Thoughts About The Game
spartacus replied to Bill from NYC's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Ther Bills have 5 wins However, the creampuffs in teh 2nd half are turning it around. Miami dominated the Chiefs on the road. They will crush the Skins and have a ton of confidence when they play the Bills. Their defense is capable of stifling the Bills Tebow may not have to pass as Denver will run on the Bills all day long. Bills will struggle to get to 8 wins. -

Chan should spend a little more time in practice coaching these clowns to get past the 1st down marker. then he wouldn't have to waste TOs on useless challenges -
Very proud of this team

Hopefully the rest of the league was not watching and will not follow the Jets plan to totally make Fitz look like the weak scatter arm QB he actually is. Gailey did him no favors with his game plan and play calling, but Fitz has to throw open his WRs like real NFL QBs do on a regular basis. and it has to be more than 10 yards down field. The Jets packed the box because they had no fear of getting beat down the field. good thing the Bills are maximizing the $4 mil they paid to Brad Smith -
the first time he was involved resulted in Maybin Spiller busted in his 2nd go round
-
on th e contrary. Polian is going to replace Manning with the best prospect in a generation. Polian knew the extent of Manning's neck before the draft. Why waste the pick on a QB when the Suck for Luck program was in full play. why else bring in the Collins to screw up the offense
-
if he had the surgery, he wouldn't have able to lie about his physcial condition and con Buddy into a $10 mil windfall
-
Polian guaranteed inept offensive play by bringing in Kerry Collins too bad he got hurt Painter has been putting up points which forced Polian to sabatage his own defense to ensure the losing continues
-
The Polian legacy will be that he rode Peyton Manning for a decade, then tanked a year and got the next Peyton manning in Andrew Luck for the next decade. With the league featuring the pass, it is even more important to have an elite QB now than the last decade. What's the point of winning a few games when you can tank out and get a superstar. too bad Chan didn't tank all out to get Cam - winning 3 games that year was pointless, especially after starting 0-8.

that's what happens when a player's IQ is the same as his shoe size

Wildcat: One-dimensional or decoy?
spartacus replied to Rivermont Mike's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
calling what the Bills run the Wildcat is a total misnomer.- In no way is this any derivation of the actual Wildcat series there is no misdirection, no fake handoffs, players in motion nothing that would confuse the defense Brad Smith takes the direct snap and runs outside not a whole of creativity in the play design - definitely not the Wildcat -
This is what the NFL wants out of LA They don't want a team there,m they want to extort stadiums from other cities by threatening to move teams by putting a team there permanently, they lose the flexibillity of showing the best games or losing a agme to blackout
-
The play calling was criminal. The Bills had 5 2nd and short opportunities and never once went deep off of play action. Seems they were forcing it to Jones in the 1st half and Fitz was throwing it into the stands. He was missing receivers by a mile. Johnson dropped the ball - not sure what all the grief is about. Chan should have had some guts and went for it on 4th down. The Bills defense could not stop the Bengals in the 2nd half. Coaching cost them this game more than the refs.
-
10 points against the Bengals sure is alot of points Bill splayed cocky and arrogant and the Bengals dominated both sides of the ball.

Fitz stats in the last 15 games
spartacus replied to PromoTheRobot's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
it won't if he doesn't throw the ball down field and this is where the Bills front office has hamstrung this franchise by providing Fitz an OL that can't protect him long enough to go down field -
Colts have already started scouting Andrew Luck
spartacus replied to Canadian Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
you are correct and you can bet that unlike the Bills, when Polian tanks the season, he will get the QB he is after - and not come up 2 slots short.
