It's official Mario Williams is a free agent
spartacus replied to billsFORlife50's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
hey - good one goes to show coaching means nothing in the NFL\ you do realize the Texans defense before Wade was coached no better than by George Edwards more Buddy Nix nonsense in a shocking revelation, (for teams other than the Bills) it was determined that signing a stud player in free agency did not eliminate the ability to "build thru the draft" -
All Peyton Manning, all the time!
spartacus replied to thewildrabbit's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
why would Manning be wearing a helmet and shoulder pads at Duke to test his arm strength? good thing the camera got up close to get a full face shot -
After Close To 15 Years of Blasting Them
spartacus replied to Bill from NYC's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
the guy can't pass block or run block consistently - but since he is not a jailbreak on every play -he is studly in Bills land -
no talent to evaluate what's the point?

Who has Buddy`s email address
spartacus replied to NastyNateSoldiers's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
If you are passing thru Tennessee, you can probably catch Buddy between naps -
Mike Wiliams was a panic pick. TD wanted Joey H and built his whole draft around teh QB and failed to properly vet the top OTs totally panicked when joey was gone- reaching for FAt Mike and passing on McKinnie

there will be can't miss talent available at #10 don't hold your breathe that the Bills have a clue who will be a stud or a dud in the NFL

Would Peyton Hillis improve the Bills?

he is slow and white that plays well with Ralph -
Nix and fans both are scared to do anything.
spartacus replied to Toshiero's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Nix got burned when he took a chance and OK'd the Maybin selection- one year wonder with upside not going to happen again for a while of course being able to identify talent would help - but that qualtiy will not inmproe in your 70's -so expect more of the same -
with the 10th pick do we pass on Floyd?
spartacus replied to EldaBillsFan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
of course Floyd will be the pick continuing the trend of wasting top 10 picks of backfilling a hole created by letting a quality player leave (bonus for Ralph is that Brandon can market the hell out of a top 10 WR) no way Floyd produces in year 1 at the same level as Stevie so another step back -
Now Greg Williams is a cheater?
spartacus replied to mountainwampus's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
at a minimum, the league should take away their franchise tag for 2012 - sign Brees in the next week or he hits free agency convenient how Williams is now on another team - so his suspension won't hurt the Saints the league should force the Saints to use George Edwards as their DC in 2012 -

The Bills OL seems to be a situation where the whole is less than the sum of its individual parts - according to how you graded each player with grades of B and better. The line benefited hugely from 2 things which have inflated your individual grades: 1. Fitz getting rid of the ball in under 2 seconds to compensate from the piss-poor pass protection. Of course, this helps the sack totals but severely restricts plays to no more than 10- yards downfield. The Bills can not an NFL offense with the pass blocking of this unit - which is why DCs are able to shut it down. The bad pass pro led to Fitz getting pounded in the Wash game and allegedly breaking his ribs - a gamble the Bills consistently take in refusing in playing a bona fide talent at LT 2. The run blocking is perceived to be better than it is because of the lanes created by the 5 WRs on the field. In crunch time when short yardage is needed, this OL can nbot move anybody off the line. Again, as DCs brought their defenses up to the line because of the inability to throw more than 10 yards down field - they choked off the run even with the spread field. As for the last decade, the OL can be made to look functional at times, but the bar has been set so low in Buffalo that fans forget what a real NFL offense looks like to compare it against. They need to add a real NFL LT and a C that can fill in for Wood if he never fully returns to pre-injury ability. -
Mike silver on polian in indy
spartacus replied to dave mcbride's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The Bills sucked on defense because Walt Corey was their DC. not firing this ass-clown was all on Marv -

great GMs find a way to tank 1 season to get the greatest QB prospect in a generation after already drafting the best QB of the last generation -
only out of the spread formation with 5 WRs on the field with the defense forced to defend the pass. this OL has proven inept in a traditional offense and cannot pound the ball with any success

perfect fit for a Chan Gailey offense no way Ralph throws the fit he did over losing out on Demaryius Thomas Ralph has no clue who Thomas is seems you are the one heavily into Aesop's fables -
yeah- so what's your point? The Bills have not had an offensive line that could move the chains since the ealry 1990's what's the point of trying to run when your OL is a liability at least with passing gamel you have a chance to make some plays if your QB can get the ball out in 2 seconds.
-
most of these "mid-tier" WR you cite are better than Stevie, let alone Easley, and will not come cheap since money is involved, do not expect any of them in Buffalo next year Bills will probably reach for Floyd #10 in a brazen attempt to sell tickets and merchandise based on the Notre Dame background another wasted pick

this is incorrect it was Tebow- Chan was building his spread offense around Tebow Ralph was pissed and blew a gasket publicly when the Broncos were able to out maneuver the Bills back into the fist round. -
Buddy doesn't like Top DEs Mock
spartacus replied to Buffalo Barbarian's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
yeah- good thing Buddy vetoed that flyer they took on that super stud Maybin but then again Chan and his defensive genius staff seems to have no clue what to do with a pass rusher - so why waste another premium pick -
especially when they tell you to specifically look for stuff like that yeah- too bad their agents don't prep them with sample tests before the combine surprising college kids with this test is just not fair

the reason we have such short dropbacks is to coverup how bad our OL is at pass blocking. maybe we should draft some bona fide OT's so we can run a real NFL offense -
the Bills use the media to play the fan base. by leaking reports, OBD mold the fan;s viewpoint to support upcoming player moves case in point - is all of the crap the Bills leaked about how terrible a person Peters was- thus justifying the salary dump in getting rid of him happens pretty much to all Bills when they are dumped For whatever reason, media typically report the leaks without a whole lot of probing followup
