  1. Why can’t Beane and the coaches take the plane to them?
  2. Bills fans will just bath themselves and consume mass quantities of Everclear.
  3. what would something like this cost in terms of a draft pick(s)?
  4. Got to agree. Shaq is going to make at least $10 mil a year. I have always thought it will average out to near $12 mil a year. Now I would gladly replace Murphy for Shaq for just a few million more.
  5. True, but I think players also know it’s not a sure thing anymore or even 50/50 as it was over those 10 years.
  6. And this is why when I see other posters arguing with you on FA and prospects I chuckle. Keep up the good work my friend!
  7. -Finally admitting Belichick isn’t a great drafter? -Belichick is going to have to focus more on game planning with the QB position in question, even with Brady. -Players aren’t wanting to come to NE as much because word is spreading Belichick is tough to play for.
  8. I think he comes on here after reading that Star analysis. It might even be a poster. I read someone say that exact thing about Beane and McDermott claiming Star is doing what he should.
  9. I feel like there has to be a few bad ones from 2015 and/or 2016. The entire team was run much less effectively under Whaley and Rex.
  10. Very solid list of prospects. They didn’t waste any meetings.
  11. The signing of a big name vet FA just doesn’t feel like a Beane move. If Gordon wanted reasonable money like $5-$6 mil total, then ok. But I think Gordon is looking for $8-10 mil.
  12. I think the Bills ultimately want to find a young player on an inexpensive contract to play opposite of Tre. Tre is probably going to get one of the biggest deals for a CB when he does get the extension. I don’t think the Bills want to have $20+ mil invested in two corners. Johnson will seek multiple years and want money of a mid range corner. I got to think that is some where in the $8 mil mark.
  13. yep. I think PFF is one of the worst offenders of using stats to push an agenda.
  14. Isn’t PFF the site that said Duck was better than Josh?
  15. He just has to be for one year. And if the rumors are accurate about the contract not being guaranteed till the first game, it gives the Bills time to find out.
  16. Good post. if there is no real guaranteed money, other than I am assuming some type of signing bonus, this is a big win. Norman shows up out of shape or uninterested he is gone before week 1. Great signing and allows the Beane to take CB2 out of round 1 or 2 consideration. Still would like to see a CB picked somewhere in the mid rounds they see as development player that needs a year. Someone from a smaller school or with only a years worth of good film.
  17. I could see a Shaq deal done for $8-9 mil and would be happy with that. This would not upset anyone on the team nor would it prohibit a DE high in the draft. Like to see more of a quick explosive DE targeted. Jerry has one more year left in him I think.
  18. I need to look into the height and weight for the second tier guys. Mins just seems like the right size and speed. What’s his biggest knock besides playing at Baylor verse an SEC school?
  19. How much more do you like Reagor/Higgins/Hamler over Mims?
  20. I don’t think he is really best suited for a 4-3 defense. If they do bring back Shaq I would rather see a faster explosive DE prospect. ‘Interest’ is a very broad term. A call is made probably about most FA’s. Could be the Bills want to drive the price up on him for an AFC opponent.
  21. I like Mims. It feels like conscious is that Lamb and Jeudy are the two best WR’s with Ruggs being right there as well. It is going to be fascinating to see, when does the next group go? I feel like we will see ‘pockets’ of wide receivers picked over the first three rounds. 3-4 taken over a ten pick span.
  22. If he is, it’s a good thing for the rest of the league. In two years he has throw 6 completions for 119 yards. Teddy Bridgewater was brought in for a reason. I don’t see it.
  23. I got to agree. Seems we have some very tough graders on TwoBillsDrive, I’m glad they weren’t my English teacher in college! Ha Only that note, in regards to Clyde Edwards out of LSU, there is no way that dude makes it past the second round.
  24. This sounds like a young guy not understanding the law for New York State. Yes, it is his responsibility, but the fact he has the proper permit for Alabama indicates someone willing to follow laws.
  25. Thomas Dimitrof and Coach Quinn are on a very short leash. I wouldn’t be surprised if they leverage the future to move up and grab a player like Chase. I for sure don’t see the Falcons moving back and stock piling picks.
