  1. I hope not. I hope our fan base and players never lose what we display. Empathy, caring for each other, good hearts. Not sure NE displays that much from their owner down to their equipment manager. If I recall correctly Edelman also got caught cheating, doping. Has Beasley?
  2. Hope you are right. Honestly if I never hear or see him again, I won’t mind. I never cared for the way he played the game. He won’t be missed by the league.
  3. I didn’t call him narcissistic. I said he will have a tough time stepping out from being the center of attention. I have awareness and knowledge of the times I live in. Edelman is unique in what he did concerning the documentary. Fact.
  4. He made it about himself. That doesn’t happen all the time.
  5. Was interesting to listen to an analysis of Farley’s injuries today on the LockedOn Bills podcast. Joe had his doctor of physical therapy on to explain Farley’s injury history and how similar injuries have impacted careers. At the end of the podcast I was left thinking if Beane and the medical staff clears him, I’m all for it. I just don’t think he makes it to the Bills. I think Stokes out of UGA would be an awesome option.
  6. He produced a documentary about how hard it was to be Julian Edelman.
  7. Type of guy who is going to have a tough time not being the center of attention.
  8. I can’t wait to watch the Edelman documentary on his rehab and comeback! He already produced one documentary on himself! Sandy Lyle has nothing on Julian Edelman.
  9. Thank you both. Originally left out Jefferson, dang me for not proof reading it.
  10. Exactly right. If someone told me before FA the only three guys the Bills didn’t bring back was Roberts, Jefferson, and Marlowe I would have said, “I can live with that I trust Beane and McD when it comes to safeties. McD knows how to coach them up.
  11. 100% right. I get caught up In traditional ways of thinking when In fact the Bills run more “sub” packages than their base. Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah is a guy who can stay on the field. Covers and can come up in the box. Not saying he is the pick at 30, but would not be surprised if they take someone within the first two rounds who fits that profile.
  12. The only draft pick is still on the team, and all UDFA’s or journeymen aren’t? Also how much do you think Marlowe’s experience in the system came into the decision to keep him around?
  13. Who were these young safeties you speak of? Are we talking UDFA’s and journeymen?
  14. I don’t think it was a fail on Beane’s part at all. He went with what he knew and trusted his evaluations. Good on Teller for continuing to develop in Cleveland. He might not have just as easily.
  15. And maybe how the Wyatt Teller trade turned out for Cleveland helps Beane.
  16. Even when he is off, he is working. I follow him. Interesting dude. Also loves that he wears Atlanta Braves hats a lot.
  17. Joe Brady will make him look incredible I bet.
  18. They are your team, I get it. The fact is they got crushed because they didn’t have players they needed in position when they needed them. Part of that is due to contracts of other players. You can make excuses, just like us Bills fans have been for losing to the Chiefs.
  19. There are some posters on here that are definitely not Bills fans. Sad thing is they masquerade as Bills fans but point out only negative things. The one posting in this thread now is actually a Pats fan I think. You can really tell who isn’t a Bills fan, because when the Bills win and are doing great they do not post. The Chefs are far from perfect. Tampa crushed them, it wasn’t even a game. Mostly because the Chefs had zero depth at oline. I think if you do a good look at their roster you will find this is the case, not much depth. So they cross their fingers and hope for minimal injuries in non key spots. That’s what you have to do when you carry expensive contracts for a handful of players. It might work out.
  20. Revisionist history but if that’s the way the draft went I’d take Etienne in the first and Stokes in the second.
  21. You know something, after doing a little bit of research I think you are right about being more built for center. I was basing my earlier opinion on hearing reports that the Bills were prepared to let Bates fight for the starting tackle spot if Williams had not been re-signed. I can’t recall who reported that early on in the offseason, but I do remember thinking it was someone with sources inside One Bills Drive.
  22. They did this in Atlanta with the old Fulton County stadium. The Olympic Stadium was built next door, then renovated for the Braves. The city also did it with the Mercedes Benz and old Georgia Dome. I vote to build the new stadium downtown right by the water where the Sabres play. There is a ton of land and would bring Buffalo all the way back to glory. Now if some people don’t want that, I understand. I ask why? Taxes going up? Don’t want the stadium near where you live? concern about a change of traditions and new place to tailgate?
  23. I really hope/think that is Bates.
  24. Stokes is going to be an awesome pro. Actually is exactly the kind of player McD likes.
