  1. So glad I quit too! Have fun fellas watching a bunch of people who don't care about our team and make more money than most of us ever will.
  2. Thank you. Is this normal for GM's? I know coaches don't like working with out a contract maybe the writing is on the wall for Whaley?
  3. Thought- Whaley wants out. Marrone showed him the blue print last year, demand more authority. Whaley gets fired and collects all his salary, while finding a new job someplace else.
  4. Hmmm, this is strange. seems like this is becoming a theme with Whaley? Trying to exert his will on his coaching staffs. If I was Whaley i think I would be taking the approach of bringing everyone back staff wise, and trying to build on talent. If Rex wasn't his hire then he is basically saying ' I told you so to the Pegulas'
  5. Jets finish 9-7 which is very possible.Bills finish 9-7 which is very possible. Neither make the playoffs, will you change your opinion about Rex being fired?
  6. What other qb's were you watching? No to Kelly.
  7. How can you possibly disagree with this? Most not all Bills fans are some of the most pessimistic fans around. Bills fans expect to lose because over the years the Bills have done so. Snatching defeat from the jaws of victory. Images that can't leave our heads or hearts. Kicks sailing wide right. Kick offs being returned and fumbles to give the opponent the winning TD. Sorry but to say you strongly disagree with that is fine and you can do it. To me it is like saying I strongly disagree that the sky is blue.
  8. Rex's D is a scheme driven for the most part. It is a D that needs excellent DB's who can man cover and allow Rex to send guys from everywhere else. I do not think Rex's D needs a DE at the price of Mario. Money that needs to be spent on LB's and Safety. Hughes at $10 mil makes more sense and is what Rex wants for a DE. I do think Rex is back no question. I don't know if I want Whaley back if he won't listen to what his coach wants and thus go and find the guys for it. My head and heart say 50/50 on Whaley.
  9. The Atlanta Braves. The 90's overall was a very hard time to be a sports fan for me. A lot of let downs. Still like most here when the Bills win it, the high will be like none you can buy. It will last for ever and not have any ill side effects.
  10. I have been asking where that D has been since the NE game. I think we saw it once or twice in Philly and Bradford pooped his pants. It is that craziest thing, if they ran that same D with the people they have healthy i got to think the outcome is better than the bend and break approach. At least pepper it in way more than Rex has been doing.
  11. Drafting a LB in the top 10 is like Drafting a RB in the top 10. It can be done, however he needs to be a can't miss and also someone you feel projects out to an all pro.
  12. Cheap sh*tt*ng someone? That's just wrong! Ha
  13. Maybe it is difficult to learn and a complex scheme. Maybe next year the team will have it down and be able to execute it at a high rate. The thought occurred to me, don't we want a complex D Scheme? I mean I get talent and such but the harder it is for another team to figure out all the different sets the better for the D. Maybe Rex knows he has 3 years and this is looking at year two and three? Just a thought and a lot of maybes.
  14. That is very sad to hear. IF he lost that 20 LBs over like a week or two that is scary stuff. Even if he weighs 320, that is roughly 7% of his weight. That would have an effect on how strong and resilient he could be. All the best.
  15. mario has been taking plays off all the way back to the NE game in Buffalo when Gronk blocked him one on one for a NE TD. A player making his kind of money and with his talent should not be taking plays off. BTW has Mario ever been a team captain? Here or in Houston?
  16. that is what is really frustrating. Over this playoff drought we always seem to have one side of the ball playing really good while the other not so much. take this years O with last years D and we have a playoff caliber team.
  17. I will be taking my nieces to see the Nutcracker, only fitting since the Bills kicked me in mine again! I am actually looking forward to a Sunday without having my emotions hinge on a bunch of guys who can not control themselves. Still love the Bills and always will, but this version is not worth anymore of my Sundays.
  18. I have a feeling NFC West will not be what it was 2 years ago. AFC North will be tough for sure, but there will be two teams that stink from it. Kind of like our division. To answer the question, none. Injuries stink, but i think back to the Pack's SB win against Pitt, they were missing an ungodly amount of people. Drafting right will help, i think Whaley is on the right track. This time next year i think we will all be in better spirits.
  19. Sorry for the miss spelling.Hope you feel better about yourself.
  20. Yep, i agree. Rex is not dumb, i believe he will grow with the job, just like we all do. I think he can be a great coach if he can stop the bravado stuff and be himself with his guys. Like he did while DC at Balt. One thing to be that way behind closed doors with your guys. In public be humble and intelligent.
  21. who can say for sure they are not, however i think if you look at every mistake or 'bad luck' situation you can trace the causes of it.
  22. Injuries are an unfortunate part of the game. I am frustrated like everyone else, we just need a season where we have some good luck.
  23. Gotta agree with this. the way players act starts with the tone set by the HC. I doubt we will hear 'we are going to be a bully' out of Rex's mouth in the off season. I hope he has learned to coach more and talk less.
