Charles Clay restructures contract
atlbillsfan1975 replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Like it. Big step in bringing the guys back we need. I think Clay, McCoy, and Sammy will have a great couple of years with TT. Get Cordy and Cog locked up and the offense is looking solid. -

He is done. Look no further than his last season. It is time for him to retire. -
McCoy's nightclub fight and the ongoing investigation
atlbillsfan1975 replied to lowghen's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I have resisted saying anything because i really do respect police officers. I am also a huge Bills fan. I have not seen any of the footage. I refuse to watch it to be honest. The one comment i do have is , why does it matter they were off duty police officers? I mean in this day and age we know police can make mistakes just like the rest of us, even more so when you mix alcohol into a scene. I do not know how this will turn out. My hope is some medical Bills get taken care of and this all goes away. If no charges are filed i find it hard for Goodell to punish McCoy. I am sure Goodell will try to levy a 2-4 game punishment. It will be reduced if no charges are filed. Glad McCoy went to the meeting today. Shows character on his part to meet with everyone personally and not hide behind attorneys. I have to think his attorneys thought it was a good idea too. This will be old news in a few months. -
Scott Norwood, XXV years later
atlbillsfan1975 replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
48 yards on natural grass is not a gimmie. Couple it with the fact that Scott was not known to have the best range outside of 45 yds, the Bills needed to do a much better job with the clock on that last drive. At the end of the day trying to find fault or blame is useless. It is what it is. Scott is a great guy . The way Buffalo treated him was first class and it has to of helped him get through it. -
Anyone debating Chandler vs Clay is misguided. Chandler was an average TE with marginal talent. For the Bills he was a big upgrade but the Bills have upgraded again with Clay. here is the thing, think about how many times we watched Chandler get run down and tackled or fumble the ball. That will not happen to Clay. Another year in the system with Taylor should pay dividends for Clay.

Should the Bills tag Glenn?
atlbillsfan1975 replied to EmotionallyUnstable's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
nail on the head. Mario in his prime vs Glenn no win his prime for the same price it is a no brainier. This just is not the case. -
Super Bowl LI - What's Your Max $ To See Bills?

I went to both Boys vs Bills SB's and also went to the Bears/Pats. If you never been and can figure out how to afford it, you have to go. It is amazing. I will be there. I will go every time till the Bills win one. -

NFL.com Rookie grades: Bills = A
atlbillsfan1975 replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
One of the more difficult things to do is step in as a rookie on either side of the line. Miller played better in the beginning of the season. Fatigue and injuries set in as the season went on. Give his body time to adjust. Year 1 to year 2 is typically when we should expect the most improvement. I hold my breath when Karlos runs up the middle, the last half of the year he couldn't finish a game. Darby is a stud. Steward I think can develope into something. Solid depth this year and maybe start if need be. I hope he is dealing with his lose. That has to be so tough. -

Smerlas is a great guy. I got to know him growing up. He was always like a big kid! Having fun and joking around. He loved the Bills and embraced Buffalo. -
Bills hire first full time female assistant coach
atlbillsfan1975 replied to Peter's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Got to agree. if all things were great and this was his one slip up, he would of survived. -
Wow I am assuming he was the guy in all white? That is just such a bad video on so many levels. Who beats someone with a belt? Beats a woman with a belt? Crazy. No thanks guys. He can stay far away from our team. We do not need his pass rush.

I truly thought our D would look like Denvers
atlbillsfan1975 replied to Estelle Getty's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Gotta say i looked at the way Ware was being used last night and thought, dang why didn't we use Mario that way? Having said that, Denver has much more talent at LB. Hughes is a poor man Von Miller. Hughes can not cover a WR like Miller now can he create constant pressure as Miller did. Dareus might be better than anything Denver has interior wise. Wolfe and Williams seem similar in play(not just because they are fat white guys). Our CB's are better. Safeties are a push when healthy. They seemed to play better as a unit for sure. More confident and attacking vs reading and reacting. I really think the Bills are very very close to what Denver has. I wish Rex could take Mario to a steak dinner or go hunting with him and the two get on the same page. Rework Mario's deal and get him back to being who he is. Attacking end who can also hold down the edge on runs. -

Johnny Manziel (update: waived by Browns)
atlbillsfan1975 replied to Buffalo Barbarian's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
They are not obligated to, nor should they. Where would it stop? I think just the opposite, they would be smart to point out everything they have done for Johnny. Let Johnny and the world know help is available, when Johnny wants it. Then wait. As to the other poster i was speaking about his father saying 'they' need to get him help or Johnny will not see 24. WHO should be responsible for that more so than his own FAMILY? That is what upsets me. IF the Manziel family can not help Johnny who can? Like we have said only Johnny can. Let him be. IF he is guilty of a crime arrest him. Let him figure out HIS life. Everyone has attempted to help him. Now let him figure it out. -
The pro bowls proves how physically demanding the game is. Guys do not want to get injured so they don't play hard. Just get rid of it. Why do we need one? Vote for best players at each position, but do not play a game. This would allow players to still be named as a pro bowler or all pro. This would help for contract clauses and voting for the HOF.

Johnny Manziel (update: waived by Browns)
atlbillsfan1975 replied to Buffalo Barbarian's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Crazy question, does it even matter that Manziel has only played 2 seasons? I mean by all accounts Manziel is not even qualified yet for an NFL pension. Why is he due anything from the NFL? This isn't something that was caused by the League. This isn't due to an injury. Why is Manziels family not doing more. I fail to see why the NFL is responsible at all for this.
