  1. Sounds like a perfect replacement for Kyle Williams. Front Seven is getting better.
  2. Anyone else catch the awkward handshake between Fujita and the Commish? Ha
  3. I am looking at it as the compensatory pick made this possible. You get a starter who Rex will figure out how to use. Like it in the second round. Him and Shaq and Hughes also will get after the qb
  4. The savings alone for Lawson over Mario should help some people get over Mario's departure. This is a forward thinking move. Drafting what could be a very good player at a cheaper rate should mean the FO has more flexibility with Glenn and Gilmore. Not to mention if TT has a good year.
  5. Good safe need pick. 2 sacks in the national championship game. Like that he showed up for the big game
  6. Smart by Fitz. He has enough money. He simply has said it will take x dollars for me to do y because of z. Fitz also realizes that the kind of money he has made, invested wisely, will change the future for generations of Fitzpatricks.
  7. any chance you think Bama defensive players are seen as Duke basketball players? Combination of the system and how the player fit into it? Thus ultimately costing them draft spots?
  8. Look at what he did at Bama, it basically took him a few years to learn the system there before he could get on the field as a LB. I'm sure he will be fine in the NFL, but expecting him to be day one MLB barking out the calls sounds like a stretch. This to me is a reason why you don't draft him in the first, when you couple it with the coverage question.
  9. But at least they are admitting there is an issue. The way I fix it- Get ex college players who are in good physical shape and have them go through rigorous testing both mentally and physically. You can be an official from ages 30-50. Then pay them well.
  10. SJBF was the best. we butted heads a little early on about Bruce Irvin, but later became pretty consistent with our opinions. What happened to him?! Miss him
  11. Someone will take him by the third round. The upside is to great. It takes one team that has an extra pick in the 2nd to rationalize it to themselves. Tenn has 3 picks in the first 15 of the second. NE has two picks at the end of the second. I could see BB taking him.
  12. Similar bodies and similar styles coming out of college. Go look at Kerney's career and tell me you would still take him in round 2. Kerney was a two time all pro and also Defensive player of the year. He was a very solid player for about 9 years, with a few great ones sprinkled in. This is what I think Bosa will be like.
  13. If Bosa's career is similar to Patrick Kerney's, where would you draft him?
  14. I think the big difference is Whaley saw what happened with the Jets. I doubt Rex talks Whaley into Bosa. I like the guy but he is nothing spectacular. Not worth the number two pick. 19 I would run to the podium.
  15. Let's say the Bills did 'lowball' Dareus and got him to sign a below market deal. So what? What do you care? You should be ecstatic, it affords the Bills a greater opportunity to sign more quality players in theory. Tell me on player Whaley has lost due to money? I can't help but ask when would you be happy? If the Bills overpaid for a player or underpaid for a player that made the team better? I don't envision Whaley holding a gun to Dareus' head and saying 'either your signature or your brains are going on that contract'
  16. I am also not a Rex blind loyalist. I am someone who will not give Mario a pass for how he played. The two do not coincide except for Mario to give an excuse why he didn't give max effort. He didn't like what his boss was asking him to do so he did a bad job at it. If any of us do that there are consequences. To stick up for Mario is mind boggling to me, much less given the fact he did it to the team you support! Mario was getting rewarded with huge sums of money, the least he could of done was give it his best effort.
  17. glad to see Taylor ready to get to work and want to play for the Bills. Don't give PTR a hard time, it's easy to get nervous about losing the only real QB prospect the Bills have had in years.
  18. Ok, so from his stats he looked to have a great start in the league his rookie and 2nd season. Looks like an injury in the third season and then this last year he was below average from his first two seasons.
  19. could he replace Kyle after this season?
  20. Miller was a third round rookie. The fact he played so much is really promising. He played pretty good showing potential until his injury. He will be fine.
  21. K-9 you don't want to debate with someone who up above said he is hoping someone plays well against his team. The other poster is putting his own personal agenda first. Sound familiar? No wonder he sides with Mario.
