Thoughts on Greg Hardy?
atlbillsfan1975 replied to Kirby Jackson's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I would love to see Freeney on a one year deal similar to what he just had in Arizona. I think Freeney and Rex would get along IF Rex used him as a pass rusher. I do not like Bierman. What he does well starts to become less effective the older he gets. Bierman is a true 'high motor' and max effort guy. Problem with those guys is that they can have all the heart and desire they want, but once the body gets to old they can not get by. Hardy is a scumbag. And as someone just pointed out, his old team went to the Superbowl the year after he left. -
I just had a meeting with some marketing people. In the meeting i voiced my displeasure with social media from a personal standpoint. I know it is necessary for my business. I wish people would take a deep breath before they hit send. Or ask themselves, 'why am i about to post this for the world to see?...what is my connection to this?'. Lawson may go on to have the best career as a lineman for the Bills since Bruce or he may be the next Flowers...right now lets wait and see. Put down the rocks.

Had Cardale declared for 2015 draft......

I hope or coaches can reach and communicate with Jones. Meyers comment about Herman leaving left me with a little insight into the regression by Jones. It also goes to show right situation means positive results. As for his draft position, someone would have taken him in the second. No doubt. Jones would of had solid numbers at the combine and a good pro day. A team would of talked themselves into it. -
Ex-Pat* googled his way to prison

Great read. The journalist did a good job, It read like a comedy. I don't feel sad for Caldwell nor am I disgusted. Sounds like a guy who eventually will figure it out and be ok. -
Love to see Hogan do that on a 4 and 7 this year against us. Hogan across the middle for 6.5 yards. Bills ball and they run out the clock to win in Buffalo and win both games against the Pats for the first time in like 20 years.

Not a flattering assessment of Adolphus

What did 'they' say about Kyle when he was drafted? and if the Underwear Olympics changed this authors opinion on Washington, that makes me less interested in the authors opinion. -
2017 NFL Mock Drafts & Top Prospects

Word fromAthens is he will be back 100%. Chubb is a hard worker, I think he wil be all good. -
Well they have everyone back from last year starter wise. . Valascoe takes Urbik's spot. I do agree continuity is important on the oline. I also have to think the Bills have a positive feeling about Hendersons chances of keeping his Condition under control for the most part. If a solid tackle Vet shakes loose later in the summer , I'm sure the Bills will look at it as insurance. The fact the Bills brought in Slausson speaks that they would like a little more insurance if something happens to Henderson.

Bills releasing Tony Steward

yeah, he may need a year away. Stay in shape and try to come back once he can sort through things. -
Bills releasing Tony Steward

i am assuming you are most likely joking? Fred was barely with this coaching staff wasn't he? He has little to no value to BB from an intel stand point. -
Bart Scott to mentor Reggie Ragland!
atlbillsfan1975 replied to K D's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The foot ball field is one place where age quickly fades when it comes to respect. If a guy can play he will get respect. For a linebacker it means being decisive and knowing your job. Then executing that job. By all accounts Brown was hesitant and thus 'lost' some of the vets trying to call the plays. The coaches did not give him a lot of support by not getting calls in quickly. Lots of areas for improvements. Hopefully Ragland is a natural leader. -
I am guessing it depends on how the Bills would structure the deal. What does Whaley and Co value more? The Bills could bump up Gilmores hit this year and next(from what I read here the cap goes up next year and the Bills have room to spare next year already). This might provide them with more flexibility for other key signings in 2018 and 2019?

ON THE CLOCK - INSIDE THE BILLS' DRAFT ROOM
atlbillsfan1975 replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Exactly. Some people on here are bullies. Just because they have a high post count they feel they can say whatever they want and it is truth. It just isn't. -
I just read that the Bills now have north of $14mil in cap space. That does not include rookie deals I believe, so they will eat some of that up. Theoretically if the Bills could work out a new deal for Gilmore how much more space would they free up? I know Bandit seems to be the best at this stuff. Take it we sign Gilmore to a top 5 corner deal.

What if this Zimmer kid becomes the next Kyle. Similar size. And seem more the agile penetrating interior guy. Yes he is white. Whenever someone comes from a small school they must dominate the competition. Zimmer did that. 13 sacks for an interior lineman. Hope this kid is the type that elevates himself to his level of competition and can adjust to the speed and power needed in the NFL.

ON THE CLOCK - INSIDE THE BILLS' DRAFT ROOM
atlbillsfan1975 replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I love being condescended. Not sure what your background is but seing as you are on here as much as you are , you probably have about the same football knowledge as me.Go look up starters in NFL that were drafted vs UDFA. I am saying things have changed from now since 1985. Information that is available now vs then has drastically been improved. Expecting 4-5 eventual starters from a draft is not unreasonable, I think it will begin to be the norm in the next 5 years.
