There are a lot of good quarterbacks who played behind bad lines early in their career. Allen is experienced with it. Still would rather see him play than Peterman. Allen will get better with more reps. I also think Shady will make a ton of difference when on the field.

This line is not very good at pass blocking right now. When the Bills offense gets in 3rd and long situations Daboll is going to have to be very creative. If the offense can keep the defense guessing then they will be ok for this season. Not good. Address the center position first and then the other guard position in the off season. If they can find a right tackle in FA so be it. Today had some to do with the Bills wanting to get Allen reps throwing against a first team D. Cincy is a good D too. Allen held up well.

This is not all bad. This shows that Allen needs time with ones at game speed. First play of game showed Clay wasn’t ready for the pass velocity. Back shoulder pass to Benjamin is a timing play. Nothing to panic about from the QB position . The online is another story.

The line looks terrible at pass blocking. I think they are trying to see what Allen can do. Unfortunately the line isn’t giving Allen a ton of time. If this was a regular season game I got to believe we would be seeing the run game more.

Good lord these types of threads will always exist. Tyrod is what he is guys. There is no more ‘potential’. Tyrod is never going to be a guy who can put a team on his back and win a game. Tyrod can manage a game and keep a team in the hunt. Tyrod will never win a Super Bowl. That’s why you play the game.

I would gladly give up a first round pick for him. probably going to take next years first and third as well as 2020’s second or a player.

Their defense is going to be good. I don’t like Williams as a person for what he did in NO, but I think he is the right guy for that team. I could see them winning 6-8 games. The penalties and discipline is a reflection of the HC. Hue doesn’t have control of that team.

Also take into account he went from beautiful Miami to Cleveland. I went to Cleveland for the first time in June and it is actually a nice downtown. It is not however Miami. As a professional athlete I would think Miami would be a ton more fun.

Guys I have been the biggest Allen fanboy since an hour after he was picked and I started looking into him. I spent the next few days after the draft watching every college tape and interviews from coaches, teammates, family, and friends. His story caught my attention and I wanted to hear more on how this guy ended up on our team. I hope all of you guys are buckled in for the ride. Allen is going to look like a rookie. It may even happen this next game. I do agree with Alexander’s statement about if coach picks Allen. I also like hearing the defensive guys praising Allen.

He is going to make rookie mistakes and look bad at times. Allen is the real deal. He will only get better with more exposure. Allen is a confident guy who believes in himself. A bad game isn’t going to send him into a state of depression. Let him learn on the field.
