UPDATE: ISRAEL v IRAN - Ceasefire reached?
Trump_is_Mentally_fit replied to Big Blitz's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
Coal mines, for instance, can go on for miles underground, so "precision" might not matter. They have had decades to dig out space in that mountain Bibi will be demanding further action soon -

i’m sure he does. Not gonna happen. But we know the sites to monitor going forward. and didn’t know a better place to put this, but Trump just got almost all of the NATO countries to spend 5% of their GDP. That’s $400 billion more. So much for trying to destroy it. -

Paywall. I’m just curious about context. People make this sound like this was done with some kind of callousness, or even vengeance. I don’t think that was the case. I don’t doubt for a second that that was a part of the message, but how as it shared and what nuances are we missing? -
It will get fun when NYC enjoys all of the horrific consequences of defunding the police and then the commies blame it on Rudy Giuliani.

Sure, now we should just leave them alone. Wonder what Bibi thinks about that? You know he isn't happy and wants Trump to attack again -
Cuomo may run as an independent in the general election, however, which would divide the anti-Zohran vote between him and Eric Adams (independent) and Curtis Sliwa (Republican). This reminds me of the 2021 Buffalo mayoral race in which Byron Brown defeated India Walton in the general election as a write-in candidate. I’m also reminded of the 2020 Democratic primaries in which all the centrists consolidated under Biden after Bernie won in Nevada. Note the strategic lesson here… Nevertheless, I’m pleasantly surprised with last night’s results (shout-out to Staten Island…WTF LOL) and now feel that Zohran’s campaign has potential to grow to an indomitable electoral majority by November 4. Having recently canvassed for Zohran in Manhattan and Brooklyn and The Bronx, I can say that we have plenty of room for growth with working-class minority communities. Lots of people have still never heard of Zohran, but they do recognize the Cuomo name. Zohran has 4 full months now to work his Obama-like charisma and keep championing his economic message with implacable focus. The weather here is hot, my friends, and so is Zohran. The thirst for water is high, my comrades, and so is the demand for pragmatic solutions to economic market failures under late-stage neoliberalism.

Your Democrat party? Zoran Mamdani.

The Wall Street district voted heavily for Mamdani as did people whose income was $50,000 and above

Iran just admitted that the nuke sites were “significantly damaged.” And that’s likely downplaying it. -

The thread has proven to me that we need a reaction that is something along the lines of "Maybe or Possibly" -

Yes, maybe. I have more confidence in precision guided 30k lb munitions however. I also think the world has seen what the Israeli intelligence apparatus is capable of. The Iranians can attempt to hide anything they like. I imagine there’s an Israeli intelligence asset helping them do the “hiding”. -

They had a PowerPoint slide to PSE employees talking about how they needed to maintain the Pegulas lifestyle, just after they told folks they weren’t going to get raises. https://www.nytimes.com/athletic/1758235/2020/04/20/as-pegulas-face-business-challenges-employees-describe-a-toxic-culture-at-pse/ -

Again, just to be fair, I’d like to know the context and the exact wording here. I don’t blame them for acknowledging all their priorities, and in fact appreciate the full disclosure and transparency. But the key here just may be in the details, and we are thinking there. I think it took a life of its own, as was demonstrated above by Einstein. I’d just like to know more about it. A lot of things are easy to twist around to suit your point of view. What else was said? -

Well, it is underground, the bombs might have hit the wrong spot. Or it was way more spread out underground than intelligence could determine. Maybe it did extensive damage but the Iranians hide that fact and act like everything is fine Israel demands Trump attack again
