  2. …Read that carefully: This class is anybody, on planet Earth, who might ever illegally cross the Southern border. This ruling is a declaration of the right for all 8 billion people on this planet to break into America. Insane. Impossible. Unacceptable.
  3. Apologies in advance to those triggered by off-color material.
  4. I haven’t noticed that many people riding without helmets, but I get that you’d see that more where you live. Or, maybe I just don’t notice details like that because we all just bounced around in the back end of the station wagon. It’s hard to say for sure. 🤷‍♂️
  5. No doubt! I’m still taken aback by how badly dems effed up to lose TWICE to the orange gasbag. Go figure.
  6. he's lying. This from the CEO of one of the largest rural healthcare systems in Tennessee. A republican and member of the federalist society. https://www.greenevillesun.com/opinion/local_columns/levine-medicaid-cuts-could-undermine-access-to-rural-and-safety-net-health-care/article_d419297f-8233-4e77-967b-7b6c66848710.html
  7. 100% with you on the helmet. If going outside the neighborhood I may wear a helmet. But on the trails with my hardtail I always wear my helmet. I'd have never considered it 20 years ago but have taken some major spills and gone over the handbars a lot more than I used to despite being a better driver.
  8. Or some the people who voted for him are flaming piles of that substance. That could be it, too.
  9. I guess if I didn’t know how to read an academic paper, that would be my argument style as well
  10. I would be embarrassed too. You’ve dropped some real doozies along the way. Such is the problem with cyberspace.
  11. This is an elite level post. Checks out.
  12. No, I have an aversion to people who can’t make an actual argument so they resort to gotcha nonsense like that.
  13. Grift grift grift supported Iraq grift grift grift
  14. That was the price, but they offered a limited time discount last year for $119/$129. Looks like that discounted price from last year is the standard student price this year.
  15. What a team !!! Bennett was a beast, that team had so many really good to great players and was good in all phases of the game . Loved it !!
  16. We have 2 ebikes, a family bike that can carry the kid and some cargo and a single rider, small capacity bike (usually for me). The family bike is just "pedal assist" and gets you up to 20mph pretty quickly, but that's where the assist tops out so you'd have to be going downhill to go faster. The single is a Class II and has a throttle and goes up to 28mph. They are definitely way more bike than motorcycle. I get the craze because these things are great for the family to get around the city, and helps us 40-somethings relive our youthful days of the 90s. But what gets me is the amount of families I see riding these things with NO HELMETS. I'm a cusp GenXer and grew up before the helmet craze so never wore one growing up, and wasnt a huge fan of the idea going into it. But now, with so much to lose, and how dangerous it can be out on the streets with drivers... It blows my mind that people arent wearing them. I saw a family go by the other day, mom and 2 kids on back, zero helmets... I dont see people getting too crazy on them since we have pretty decent bike infrastructure in the city (Atlanta). Bike lanes almost everywhere we want to go, etc. But folks, WEAR A HELMET. As for kids riding the ebikes or electric scooters, no one under 16 should be operating these things on their own. It's more dangerous than being in a car.
  17. This bill won’t just hurt people in WNY. It will hit the very people posting here: working folks, veterans, the elderly, and even MAGA who would bury their own mother if it meant Trump could run again in 2028. That’s how cruel this bill is, and how deranged the people cheering it on have become.
