Pegula Divests from Knight Hawks after pulling out of Rochester Lease
Gregg replied to Mango's topic in The Stadium Wall
I hope that's not the case. The Sabres have great fans, as Buffalo is a very good hockey market. Attendance may be down but who can blame the fans with the product they have put on the ice the past 15 years. As an Isles fan I went through the relocation rumors when the team was losing money playing at Nassau Coliseum. Thankfully then Gov Cuomo helped the Isles get through all of the challenges to get UBS built. Hoping the Sabres stay in Buffalo and eventually get a new arena as well. -

https://www.newsweek.com/china-state-media-israel-iran-airstrikes-defenses-arms-sales-2086463 The collapse of Iran's air defenses in the face of Israeli attacks has prompted influential Chinese commentators to say it could have fared better if it had been supplied with Chinese weaponry. Chinese fighter aircraft proved themselves in combat for Pakistan during its recent confrontation with India, with Pakistani forces claiming to have shot down Indian jets. "Iran's biggest mistake was not purchasing weapons from China," wrote "Former HR himself," a Weibo account with two million followers. The Chinese comments on the failure of Iran's air defenses, which were largely dependent on Russian systems, highlight the increasing prominence of the latest Chinese weapons technology and China's desire to secure new markets for it. The apparent success of Chinese air power in the confrontation between India and Pakistan had already elevated its profile, with stocks in Chinese defense company AVIC Shenyang soaring by 10 percent on last week's news that Pakistan planned to acquire 40 of its J-35 fighters. Countries unable to acquire advanced fighter jets from the U.S. are increasingly turning to China as an alternative supplier, as Beijing positions itself as a viable competitor by ramping up exports and strategic partnerships, as well as showcasing its aircraft in military drills. China Central Television program Defense Review said that netizens from several Muslim-majority countries had called on their governments to introduce the Chinese J-35 fighter jet immediately after seeing what had happened in Iran. These calls—from nationals of Pakistan, Egypt, the United Arab Emirates, Iraq, Algeria, and others—illustrated a growing desire to strengthen security partnerships with China as a way to counter U.S.-built hardware, such as the F-35s flown by Israel, the report said. This narrative was also taken up by Hu Xijin, the outspoken former editor of the state-run nationalist tabloid Global Times, who has nearly 25 million followers on the Chinese microblogging platform Weibo. "If Iran had several dozen J-10s, plus a Hongqi series missile air defense system, and with Pakistan's level of air defense, it would probably not be as easily struck by Israel like this," Hu wrote in the now-deleted post. The J-10 is an older generation fighter than the J-35. -

Science has yet to develop a little blue pill for the right arm, but they are working on it. They had priorities. -

He doesn’t know diplomacy. He completely failed with the Ukraine ceasefire and is failing with this, and now he’s getting frustrated. This is why you need actual competent cabinet members and not rejects from Fox News. -

Pegula Divests from Knight Hawks after pulling out of Rochester Lease
May Day 10 replied to Mango's topic in The Stadium Wall
True.... but just the franchise slot alone is valuable. They wouldnt need to be the sabres, wear ugly black uniforms 20 times a season, play in a dump, and have an unqualified balding turd as a general manager. They can be the Houston Aeros playing in the 6th largest TV market within a couple years... with real management -
Kelly is just one stat though. 4 straight Super Bowls. That's the stat. Otherwise, he is 1990s Phil Rivers lite. Hall of Very Good.

Actually if you’d stop seething and crying for a moment, you’d see that Judge Murphy was protecting the migrants via a separate order that was different from the one SCOTUS ruled on. Obviously you’d know this if you’d pause with your blind desire to remove brown people from the U.S. for five seconds.

NHL properties? I thought we were talking about the Sabres. -
As for the Giants game if they would have given the ball to Thurman more, I am convinced they would have won.

He would make a ton of money on a Sabres sale. NHL properties are very valuable, north of $1 Billion now. The Sabres are not tied to Buffalo for long at all, and easy to relocate to a larger market. -
Wow it’s almost like all immigrants contribute to the local economy! Who would have thought!

The Bills are going nowhere for the forseeable future, and I've been told this by the new stadium and lease aggreements with NYS / WNY Now regarding the Sabres the sooner Pegula can sell the team and step aside the better. I had great hope but he obviously has no clue at all.
