I’m all for getting the young guys reps in games we should win, but perhaps not the first drive? I saw cam Lewis strong and Solomon out there that drive, as well as Jones playing the 3 tech?

Need a play maker on defence or forget about Super Bowl dream, the problem is McDermott wants to control the defence and this is why they won't hire big name defensive coordinator

I don't love the idea of McD calling the D again but they have to do something. Babich is over his head.

All those draft picks and cap money on Defense the last 8 years....something just isn't right, it makes no sense. Either bad coaching or bad drafting/fa acquisition

We just need to hope to slow down this high powered offense of the saints. Take a “bend don’t break” approach. We don’t need these high flyers putting up 40 on us

I’m convinced McD instructs the D to sit back on starting drives to see what the opposing game plan is. There’s just no way they give up scores so easily against Miami and this team otherwise.

It’s not the players my guy. It’s the coaching

McDermott is a conundrum. He's taken us from doldrums and changed the culture so positively. Obviously, Josh is the major part of that, but McDermott's (& Beane's) contributions cannot be ignored. That said, I feel there is a ceiling to this defense and the ceiling of the players they bring in, especially on defense which is McDermott's side of the ball. I hope they do not waste Josh's career. That man deserve a ring.

Thing about missed tackles is you can't really put that on coaching. If you're playing the NFL, you should already be able to tackle. It's on the player.

And Bishop was never starter caliber, and Rapp is a bottom of the barrel starter.

You dont need a spy when you play zone. How about a pass rush? How about Rousseau making a play? Would be first one all year

Firing coaching will not magically make these players better.
