Is really shaping up to be the greatest of all time. There are 2 HOFers so far and Baker’s stock is rapidly rising. Sam Darnold is still young enough to turn it around, but is also trending upwards although no where near the former. No SB appearances really hurt this group. Pure production is astronomical. Where do you see this draft compared to the 83 QB class ? There are 2 SB wins in that group but also there TEN appearances which is incredible. Elway and Marino are 2 of the most physical talented QBs of all time and Jim Kelly was no slouch when it came to arm talent. I always find it funny that Buffalo managed to nab quarterbacks from each of the greatest classes.

Oklahoma State fired Mike Gundy yesterday afternoon. Dabo next?

Probably low...more of a risk if his contract runs out and another team gives more money/better title like "Assistant HC" or something like that, but from all accounts he really likes it here. Too hard to find a good OL Coach to let them go without the Bills doing everything in their power to keep them. Most great OL coaches stay the entire time the coaching staff is together.

Stelter ever being hired for a tv gig will always be one of life’s greatest mysteries.

Based on the recent McDermott update, it looks like Hairston coming back isn't even a given this year. Here's a question that may not belong in this thread. Is White an upgrade over Douglas at CB2? I don't know myself. My opinion is the defense is certainly no better than last year (worse?), but I don't think CB play is driving the problems we've been having on third downs.

Everyone laughed at this comment, but it seems to me it's pretty simple: First, if you need someone to do a job, it's best to find someone who's already done the job. Jake Browning is an undrafted free agent QB who's barely been able to get off the practice squad. Russell Wilson has won a Super Bowl. Second, I've been amazed, like everyone else, at Wilson's decline, and I don't think he's anyone's quarterback of the future. However, I didn't think Joe Flacco could play in the NFL any longer, either, but he's shown that his experience alone is enough to enable him to make good decisions for his team. Third, remarkably the Giants have been unable to put any talent around their quarterback - in fact, they let a quarterback and a running back go. Wilson is struggling back there in part because he isn't what he was and in part because he has no help. In Cinci he'd have some real talent and a well-conceived offense to direct - he'd have to do less than the Giants need him to do. If I'm the Bengals, I know at least this: You can't win without a QB. If your QB goes down for a couple games, you struggle through with your backup. But if you have a quality QB with a quality team around him, and the QB goes down for three months, it's a wasted season unless you find someone who can do the job. Going forward with an inexperienced guy who never has projected to be an NFL success and who has no experience on the field is not a formula for 2025 success. Bengals have to do something.

Jaxson Dart to start for Giants
ChronicAndKnuckles replied to Draconator's topic in The Stadium Wall
50k passing 64.4 % 353/113 TD - INT 5500 Rush yards 39 TDs 1x SB winner, 10x pro bowler Most wins by a QB through 9 seasons 1 of only 5 QBs with a career 99 passer rating If he doesn’t make it then that is directly on Pete Carroll for the dumbest call in sports history. Also cementing Brady’s SB record as even more unattainable. -
I get the sense this is more serious than they are letting on and if Bass comes back he will likely have a high chance of re-injuring it and end up having to have surgery to correct the issue. Clearly far more going on than just "Pelvic soreness" and that doesn't sound like a great thing for a kicker to have to begin with since that's where all his power derives from. Even minor issues can sap disproportional amounts of strength in his kicks. Eli is almost assuredly getting in for his 2 SB wins over the evil empire and stopping the undefeated season even if he wouldn't deserve it based on his mediocre numbers otherwise. Plus he is a Manning, football royalty, don't discount how much weight that holds. Won't be first ballot, but almost assuredly getting in within first 5 years.

Left-wing media has time and time again failed. There isn't a consumer for this product. Rush Limbaugh first exposed this in the 90s when no other platform could be leveraged against him. His argument was that almost all media is already left Center, from NPR to the common news. This shift began in Vietnam when Cronkite and others in about face on the war. This is one of the turning points in national History that pushed left. It opened up the voice to the minority leftist empowering them to speak up. Since then however there have been no true threats on the left right wing media. From Ben Shapiro to Fox News the right has done considerably better in there product than the left. Of course many leftist failed to realize that msnbc, cnn, nbc, cbs, abc, ESPN, PBS,npr, Telemundo, and more are all left wing and Democratic driven. Also, the young kids especially do not understand how the FCC does not regulate non-broadcast channels. As crazy as it is the government owned the airwaves therefore what is broadcast on government airwaves through a broadcast dish of NBC Cbs Fox ABC and others is regulated by the government and must serve a purpose to the greater country as a whole without individual catering to one party, one demographic, one group. Fox News can exist because it is on the spectrum of pay-per-view, a private contract between the broadcaster and the recipient therefore those terms are negotiable and not subject to government interference

Networks can, but blatant partisan bias is in the scope of the FCC and was not how these networks were intended to be used. Cable, podcasts etc., obviously a different story.

Yes in fact it was invoked last election. Harris went on a late show against network advisement and warnings. Trump successfully was due equal time by the network. https://www.latimes.com/entertainment-arts/business/story/2024-11-04/trump-campaign-gets-equal-time-from-nbc-after-harris-snl-appearance Surprised this isn't common knowledge but to a leftist it's something blinding. The common media favors the left.
