  1. Past hour
  2. This may have been said but yesterday shows why there were complaints about the defense against the Texans. The offense was anaemic in the first half, but the defense kept us in it. They didn't give away a back breaking drive at the end of the half. They gave the offense time to find their footing, and stick to the original game plan. Sometimes that is required. And that was missing in Houston.
  3. Offensive line had a great game yesterday. Once Anderson calmed down, line blocked well. Wonder why this wasn’t the same game plan for the Houston game? Don’t believe we would have won, but it may have been closer. Houston’s defenders are much faster to the ball then the Steelers, so not sure how much of a difference it would have made…other than not getting Josh beat up last week.
  4. Did I say "we won't make the playoffs"? No - I don't think I did. I said this is not a Championship team. And by Championship, I'm talking about a Super Bowl Champion. Though I don't really see an AFC Champion either. And no - I don't think it's "curious reasoning" to suggest a team with a better QB and RB with no passing game doesn't trump a team with a lesser QB and RB that has a passing game. And while Josh is better than Maye, I don't think you'll find many that say he's performing better than Maye right now. The point isn't *a* WR. The point is we have no passing game. No WR. Zero. Nada. Zilch. We're scrambling to sign Gabe Davis off the Practice Squad. Brandin Cooks and Mecole Hardman off the street. And you know why that is? Because we are NOWHERE. That's the crux of it. You can argue strength of schedule and compare things on paper all you want. It's not trumping results. And the results are we are a PAINFULLY one dimensional team. It's not the 40's and 50's. A great run game and a horrific passing game can't win a title.
  5. It’s Josh Allen on your side, anything can happen. Will they win out? Probably not. After the first 4 games, they are 3-5 and we are 4-4. Great win yesterday, but neither team has been world beaters. Although, I believe the bills are better than their record, they need to prove it consistently.
  6. Well now...... That is odd because in your comment you just mentioned a running back and a wr. Now you are saying our running back is better and our QB is better. Now I must admit that I also think Kincaid is a better Tight end the Henry so unless you disagree with that then I guess you think A WR makes a team significantly better then another a team with a better QB, running back, and tight end? That is some some curious reasoning. Actually seeing you in January means things will play out the way most people (and every stat and sport book in the the USA) thinks they will play out with the Bills and Patriots both making the playoffs. If you think that wont happen you are in the minority. But yes, Bookmarked. 🙂
  7. Bills down by 7 and just got a first down. Josh looking to get up and get to the next play. If the defender is slow rolling getting off a player (which Hayward basically admitted to doing), that player has every right to stand up. Josh did and if his knee may have hit him in the gut…so be it.
  8. It's getting pretty obvious The President of the United States of America is barely capable of feeding himself at this point, and I'm not a doctor- but I do know what propping up a puppet looks like. Question for any prescribers- what have they put him on for the more 'public' appearances? Looking at this ghastly shell of a washed-up Hollywood D-rate actor, I can't even imagine how much ***** they've shot-up into him to keep bloviating for the brief, precious moments.
  9. I’d for sure sign him. Culture fit. Been playing great. Have other needs and don’t need to create another need by not signing him. Won’t be cheap, but there is some savings if signed versus dead cap.
  10. This from the guy who thinks the Bills are going to win out?
  11. This is worse than Shavers being the next Stallworth....
  12. That's great. I'd agree with you that I'd rather have Josh and Cook over Maye and Henderson. And if a QB and a RB was all you needed, we'd have the Pats in spades. The difference is, they have a passing game. They have weapons beyond their QB and RB. We simply do not. They aren't "my boys". I hate the Patriots like any Bills fan. But that's not going to change the fact that they (and other teams in the AFC) can take care of business through the air. Until we can develop a passing game, we cannot compete when it matters. If you're "seeing me in January" - that means things have changed. That means against the odds, we were able to make it work through the air with, quite possibly, the worst group of WR's at getting open I've ever seen. But after 13 weeks, I don't see that changing. But all means, bookmark away. I'd be thrilled to be wrong about this offense and the fact that I don't see a Championship roster.
  13. Because we obviously learned nothing from the von Miller deal
  14. I would rather have cook then Henderson and I would rather have Josh Allen then Drake Maye, but you do you. Again, if your going to talk about "championship team" and your going to say the patriots are that "championship team" with the schedule they have played then we will agree to disagree But the good thing about competition is we get to see who is right, so really there is no ambiguity. I will book mark this thread and we will see if cook and Allen are better then your boys in NE. See you in January
  15. No. They'll absolutely lose in New England and likely to Philadelphia
  16. Lamar is a QB whose game is completely reliant on his ability to run.
  17. My man - we're not that much better at #23 on that list. You're acting as though us being at a .467 at 8-4 and them being at .429 at 10-2 means we're legit and they're complete frauds. They're taking care of the teams put in front of them. Like the Falcons and the Dolphins who we lost to. And more importantly than that, humiliated us. But beyond that, I'm talking about the makeup of the team. They have a good running game with Treveyon Henderson who has come on HUGE the past couple weeks. A WR core that has Stefon Diggs looking like he's in his prime. A QB who is playing at an MVP level. And an All Pro on Defense. You want to live in fantasy land where us going 4-4 over the past 8 weeks with a one dimensional attack means we're a Championship team? Be my guest. It's just going to make the kind of losses like we had last week that much more painful and confusing - when the answer is obvious. The roster is not built to compete against the league's best at their best.
  18. He likes being here BECAUSE of the culture with McDermott and beane.
  19. Today
  20. If Psycho Mode Josh Allen is here to stay, James Cook stays healthy, Kincaid returns, Brandin Cooks shows a pulse, our defense magically locks in out of nowhere, then yeah we have a puncher's chance.
  21. Injuries must be reported if a player receivers specialized or targeted treatment, above and beyond the scope of average TLC, for an injury. This is why you see guys practicing in full yet on the report. They may be doing everything at practice but are listed on the report because of their treatment to a particular area.
  22. Did they try to take Josh's head off? Ouch you kneed my belly when I was on top of you 🙄 Were they chirping Josh all game? Did they get manhandled in their own stadium? Yeah I'd be angry too
  23. Broncos offense has looked pretty awful to me every time I’ve seen them tbh…I really think they’re dumbing things down for nix. They hardly ever use presnap motion it is straight up bizarre I was just gonna say that’s the only team that really worries me…people get wayyyy too hung up on overall records at arbitrary points in the season when deciding what teams are good. Texans have played the anti-pats/bears schedule where they pretty much only play good teams lol. 9 teams over .500 right now, the ravens, and the titans twice was their schedule I know this board loves them (well not loves haha thinks they’re great) but I’m really not sold on Denver or NE yet personally
  24. Agree and as you mentioned Denver and NE.... here come the Texans who look really tough
