A much better place to live in now compared with the 70s to mid late 90s, during the sectarian conflicts. The weather sucks though! We don't have the harsh winters like in Buffalo but we rarely get any prolonged good dry sunny weather. Even a short hop across the pond to southern England seems to be much better weather wise.
