So do a million other guys. I dont think Diggs off-season work ethic has ever been in doubt. He puts in a ton of work, and like many others does not value OTA's.
Not to mention the $20 and $30 m per contracts we saw in free agency and the fact wr was the most active position. At RB we see guys struggling to get a job while many wr that have done nothing still get shot after shot. I think it’s more teams are hoping to get lucky so they don’t have to pay a guy 30m.
When Diggs was on this roster I would bet if he was still on this roster not many would be saying Diggs is not a #1. Now that he is gone the narrative is he sucked anyway. Ok. So all the times people wanted to add to the wr room and we didn’t need to because we had Diggs and anyone else was gravy.
They have said it - replicating a Green Bay wr room. Bunch of ok players can do a bit of different things. No one guy. Let’s see how this plays out…I prefer having a true 1 and 2 add a vet and a bunch of randoms.
Don’t mind the move though. We’ll depending on the contract details.
I wish there was a bigger time gap between "an nfl team hired" and " the bills hired" or speculation its was the Jets or Fins. It would have been funny to read on this board how it is stupid to decision only to then learn it was the bills.
Here may be another way to look at it:
In games decided by 0-7 points,
Allen - 21-23 record; 61 TD, 43 Int, 240 YPG, 83.5 rating
Mahomes - 33-17 record, 114 TD, 35 Int, 304 YPG, 99.1 rating
McD has told Josh he needs to leave max of 12 seconds. Anything more no defense in the league can hold.
Shiny new WR and we are up by more than 7 (make that 8)...
One issue with this stat is the more times your down the more chances you have. Some QB's create their own opportunities to then redeem themselves. Others were blowing teams out more often or putting games away before a comeback is needed.
