Their are folks out there that think nothing can ever be done to make a difference,

Then their are folks out there that make a difference.

Season ticket holders have leverage, if they use it properly DJ will get fired and at least we won't he to see his stupid face, or hear about how hard it is to win in this league for the rest of the :censored: season.

Let's come up with a clear, simple means of protest ... this is my idea, but if anyone has anything better, let's talk about it.

What would be better then demanding a refund?

Some argue that not much will change with a HC change in mid-season. My argument is that things cannot get measurably worse. If anything, it will send a message of accountability. If players like Dockery and Walker were let go in the off-season for being ineffective (especially at the salary being paid), then DJ should be no different. At this point, he is adding no value to the team and is presiding over the regression of the O and even our once-vaunted ST.

Season ticket holders have the least leverage of anyone for the remainder of the season. They've already paid for their tickets, and you're not getting a refund. The best we can do is hope that someone else will be willing to buy our seats if we don't want to go.

Season ticket holders only have leverage in the offseason, when it's time to decide if you want to pony up and renew your seats.

If any fans have any leverage left, it's the fans that buy the tickets with inflated prices off of the current season ticket holders and brokers. If they decided to stop buying, and brokers are forced to take a loss on seats, maybe the brokers won't buy up as many next season.

The season ticket holders are the same folks that have been doing this for years and they are the only ones with a real voice that can be heard.

And then there are people living in a dream world thinking they can change the world with some phone calls and good old fashion protests. Its not that some people think that nothing can ever be done to make a difference, its that they are realistic in knowing that there are ways that may help change things, and ways that won't.

Season ticket holders have leverage when it comes to renewing their tickets, although theres probably 2 other people lined up to get those tickets when you don't renew. Demanding a refund isn't going to get you anywhere right now cause they don't give refunds for poor play, and thats what they will tell you on the phone. Do you seriously think that the front office isn't pissed with the play of the team, or know that the fan base isn't happy? Making a change right now, at this point in the season isn't going to turn the team around and make them a playoff team, unless the new coach is also a miracle healer who can heal half the defence, and can force teams to trade the bills mid season for top tier players.

Fans are going to be really disapointed this offseason, cause coaches like Cowher, or Dungy, Holmgren, etc aren't coming here. What people need to realise is that those coaches just like FA's have to want to come here, and its not always about who can pay them the most. Those coaches have achieved full success in the NFL and left coaching on their own terms to take time away and spend time with their families. They have money, they have championships, and were in better positions then they would be walking into in Buffalo. IF, and thats a big IF, they decide to come back, it will also be on their own terms and time, probably in a favourable situation close to their families, and it will be because they missed the game, not because a team is willing to pay them huge amounts. They are in comfy TV jobs right now to pay the Bills, and those jobs keep them around the game, but give them the freedom to be with their families more. The next Bills coach will be a former top assistant coach from somewhere (like a Rex Ryan, Tony Sporano, Josh McDaniels) or a retread currently coaching in the UFL (like Fassel, Haslett) or a guy that might get let go this offseason. There is only one thing for certain, if it isn't one of the guys most likely not to come out of retirement, the fans will never be happy
