If Jauron isn't fired in 24 hours, it can only mean ...

... one of two things:

1. Either Ralph is senile and/or close to being broke, and can't afford to swallow Jauron's contract -- never mind he could recoup that loss in a turbo second by selling the naming rights to the stadium.

2. Ralph is a genius and wants the product to tank so badly as to lessen its value on the open market, making it easier for a local investor(s) to buy the team and keep it in Buffalo.

Losing to Cleveland twice like the Bills have in the last 10 or so games cannot possbily go unpunished.

Do you think a man as rich as him really cares at this point about money when he is nearing the end of his life? Anyone who thinks its about money is just crazy. He wants to win, keeps spending money to do so, unfortunately this team hasnt had a QB in over a decade and you wont win in the NFL without a QB or good coaching staff...its time to fire DJ and move on from the Trent Edwards failed experiment...until BOTH of those things happen this team will be in the garbage.

Yeah, old Ralph looks REALLY desperate to win, this being Dick's first year of a new contract after three 7-9 seasons with GOBS of ridiculously bad games under his tenure. Yeah, please talk more about how much Ralph cares. :w00t:

Do you really think Ralph still wants win? Considering he will not pay for a proven NFL coach, he will not pay for a GM, he will not pay to keep talent. Considering NFL revenue sharing, Bills merch, beer and popcorn and a home sell out he is nowhere near the poor house. I think the dude is 91 and wants to live the rest of his days stress free. Sell 49% and let someon else make the calls.

You do ralize DJ was a coach of the year winner before he came to Buffalo right? He had proven something and DJ was MARV LEVY's guy, so why does everyone still say he doesnt want to win and wont pay for a proven coach? Second, he has paid to keep talent...he just extended McGee, paid for TO, extended Lee, Schobel, etc...JP didnt want to be here and asked for a absurd contract to get out of Buffalo just so he could sign for less in Phi.

The dude has more money than the next 5 generations of his family can spend, if you think its about the money you are crazy. His passion is football, not money...

We are no where near the bottom of the NFL in spending...

You guys just don't get, maybe you never will...probably don't recall the 1984-85 seasons, back to back 2-14 season's. The Bills losing to the Dolphins for the entire decade of the 70's, not one win against Miami for 10 years.

RW will not make a change until he stop's hearing the "cha Ching" of the cash register.

To the eternally optimistic people who keep buying season and game tickets because they think some miracle will occur, hope you got your moneys worth from that Cleveland game.

Not quite, he was NFL coach of the year in 2001, his ONLY winning season. We got him after he was the intrim coach with the Lions going 1-3. As for spending, lets talk BSmith,TThomas,Fat Pat,Winfiled to name a few.

Ralph is saving all his money in case we get an uncapped year, he will than spend like we have never seen him spend

 Good one.

I'm planning to bet Alphadawg7 my entire nest egg that Ralph cares very much about money. How about it, Alpha, my $17.40 against your considerable resources?

i hear you.

i am done spending any time, money or effort on this team until either the owner, the management, the coaching or the players show some sort of spine to indicate that they are willing to make changes. this cannot go on.

Those of us who were around can recall what was done with the Buffalo Braves. Team's lease had an out if the average attendance went below a certain amount so they gutted the team, resulting in a horrible product, with the biggest deal being Bob McAdoo to NY for John Gianelli (Who?) and cash. Attendance dropped below the threshhold and the team left for San Diego.

Unfortunately there are so many season ticket holders this year that the team won't feel the backlash of this pathetic team in their pocketbooks. So, how many of you will renew for 2010?

On the bright side, with this horrible team, Toronto may not be interested in getting any more games.

A legitimate reason he might not fire him is because he doesn't have an appropriate replacement ready.

A month ago, we'd have said Bobby April, but his unit has been a big part of the failures this year. It may not be all his fault, but the message that would go with promoting him would be a bit off.

3. Ralph once again has no viable contingency plan ready in the (predictable) event that something like this season would happen (see: cluster!@#$ following TD's dismissal)

Good point. Although I truly think promoting April would just extend the same mentality on the team that already exists.

Coaching and GM'ing on the cheap has got to be over with. until then, this will continue.
