Anyone Concerned About...

With POZ out of the lineup, we have a much smaller, much lighter MLB in Buggs.

Cadillac Williams ripped some HUGE runs to start the game against Dallas:

1st Quarter

8-TB 22 (9:01) 24-C.Williams left tackle to TB 33 for 11 yards (51-K.Brooking, 43-G.Sensabaugh).

1-10-DAL 34 (7:02) 24-C.Williams right tackle to DAL 20 for 14 yards (26-K.Hamlin, 43-G.Sensabaugh).

1-10-TB 22 (1:14) 24-C.Williams right guard to TB 29 for 7 yards (51-K.Brooking, 43-G.Sensabaugh).

2-3-TB 29 (:42) 24-C.Williams up the middle to TB 35 for 6 yards (99-I.Olshansky).

2nd Quarter

2-10-DAL 40 (12:18) 24-C.Williams right tackle pushed ob at DAL 5 for 35 yards (43-G.Sensabaugh).

Also, Winslow was sparingly used last week, will he also expose our weakened middle?

That's the NFL's way of saying...he can't get open or he's horribly over-rated.

I watched 75% of that Tampa/Dallas game thanks to the free preview of Sunday ticket on DirecTV. :censored:

Leftwich is awful. The Tampa D is a shell of what it used to be. Bills win by 7 or more....

Well, Dallas had the 12th ranked rush D last year, we had 22nd with Poz in the lineup. I think it is more of a concern than most would think.

Unless Trent learns to sling the ball with anticipation and with guys covered like Romo did, I see a ton of fast 3 and outs and Tampa controlling with their running game.

Lefwich is simply not in the same class as Golden Boy Brady. He can play well at times but every time I have watched him play, he is limping by the end of the first half. he certainly can move and gun it, but again, he's no Brady. So, the obvious thing is for the Bills to put more men in the box. This limits the run game. With Bryant ailing (at best for their sake) or OUT they are weakened at the WR position not to mention their all-pro Center is OUT (Faine) which makes the shotgun a big liability. They need the shotgun to given Byron more time to throw.

Offensively, the Bills put up 17 points (not counting Schobel's TD) They SHOULD be able to score at least 17 if not more playing at home.

Obviously, the Bills have to play well but there is no reason not to be optimistic.

Go Bills!

short of deleting and starting a new thread...how do you edit the title....i don't think i have ever been able to edit a subject line...only the body of the post

whoa, i swear i had never been able to edit the subject line before..lo and behold, i must have been on crack

Upon consideration, I am concerned about how many posters won't take the few moments it takes to edit a thread title.

I have considered that problem, as well. Concerning the topic of the post, however, do you all think I'm a bad guy for picking up Cadillac Williams for my fantasy football team?

I don't start FF players who are going against Buffalo, unless it is absolutely necessary on a bye week and even then I'll try to figure out if I even need that spot filled. I cannot in any way get excited about a player making a big play against Buffalo. Not gonna happen.

You're missing the beauty of it. If the Bills don't do well, at least my fantasy team might. I always root for the Bills above all, but sometimes starting an opposing player is like "hedging your bet."
