Â Like trying to figure out why one day the president says he has no intention of pursuing legal action against the previous administration for the torture docs, and then two days later changes his mind. Â Like trying to figure out how a president can have a straight face when asking his cabinet to reduce their costs by $100M in 90 days when that amount is actually less than the daily interest we are paying on a stimulus bill that funds special interest projects. Â Like trying to figure out how a president can tell credit card companies that they need to stop charging exorbitant fees and demanding simplicity while finding this perfectly acceptable practices by the IRS. Â Like trying to understand what's so hard about keeping a simple, easy campaign promise to call deaths of over a million Armenians "genocide." Â Like trying to understand how the administration decided they need $634 billion as a downpayment on a health care plan that actually has no plan. Like trying to understand how easy it is to launder taxpayer money by accepting money from bailout companies who are trying to gain favor with the administration. Â Like watching this administration put car makers through a bankruptcy proceeding that does not negate the UAW contracts. Â BUT HEY!!! LOOK AT THE PALINS!!!. Those reckless, irresponsible people. I may not be in the majority here, but I'm thinking Levi is really going to catch Simon's attention when they spend next week doing Barry Manilow covers, especially if he can do "Copacabana" or "Looks Like We Made It."
