You mean Robert "Stonehands" Royal? What a ridiculous overpayment that is for a TE who drops the ball like he plays for the Seahawks or something.

Isn't this a huge problem though? I mean, we bring in a guy who an opposing Defense KNOWS cant catch for crap, and every time he's in the game he'll just be the 6th O-Lineman on the field...they'll know the run is coming.

 

Marv, you better be on the phone with Jon Runyan and/or Kevin Mawae right now, I dont think you landed the next Pete Metzelaars.

For 5 years at $10M, he'd better be as good as a guard at runblocking. And if he is, move him to guard where we really need him.

 

There's a reason Gibbs doesn't want him, he's a TE who can't catch. Compare and contrast with what Chris Cooley did last year. Guess Marv is counting on Everett to provide that dimension?
