How come when a player have a big game, they end up injured and out the following week. I've noticed a trend this season.

It's probably a turf toe thing - precautionary/recovery during the week and pain management while you play thru it.  The boot keeps you from flexing the joint and gives it time to calm the inflammation down.

 

Thigh Dr said this type of boot doesn't have anything to do with turf toe

Something is obviously going on with the training staff.

 

This is like the 10th practice mid week injury. I've never seen this before, literally ever 

 

So I don't know what they're doing but it's gotta stop

When I read the thread title I figured he wears loafers or something and this was a men's fashion thread.  Walking boot is very different than walking shoe. WTF dude!?!
