Brady was asked on Cowherd's show if he could still play at age 48 and Brady was quick to say yes he definitely could still play and would say yes if asked, except that he can't because of his Raiders ownership stake.

I'll bet Brady could suit up and look the exact same as he did 3 years ago. Good points about Rivers too!

If somehow the Colts make it in and we don't go all the way I would be rooting for Rivers just because, what a crazy, insane, storyline.

I wonder if he could still suit up for the Raiders since that's the team he owns part of.  Kind of a recall to the old movie "Heaven Can Wait" and be the player/owner. Geno is expected to miss this week and I bet he's still better than Kenny Pickett...

"Ms. Irsay, there's a Doug Flutie calling on line one...and he doesn't sound happy..."

We all know that's just Cam Newton using an alias.

the man hasn’t read a defense in years. You don’t think that deteriorates?

For QBs as cerebral and experienced as Rivers it’s like riding a bike. He will need to knock off some rust for sure, but he will not see anything from a defense that he hasn’t seen countless times before.

He ran the same offense as INDY for his sons. That's not to say that the physical can keep up with his brain anymore. But they have made an interesting experiment
