I don't know what you're referring to.  Bizarro or whatever...

Houston Texans does NOT have a historic number one defense. Yes, they're number one, but not a blitzkrieg king kong number one defense. Again, we almost won that game in Houston.

Put that game in snowy windy cold Buffalo, yeah it's a different game. Their offense is nothing to write home about, CJ Stroud or not.

Maybe I misunderstood. I'm talking ppl that would rather play KC than Houston.

That's a bizarre opinion. Give me the Texans, idc if it's in Houston. Not saying they're not a tough team. But if they can knock KC out, do it

We want another team to do the dirty work for us? Now, this is where I disagree.

I want the Chiefs. They put us through heartbreaks. And we don't want to be ones to put them out to pasture? LOL c'mon man.

10 wins will get buffalo in. The 4 -10 seeds play each other. It's why buffalo has a 91% chance to make the playoffs even tho they're currently the 7 seed. If buffalo just beats the jets and browns theyll be in. If they beat Cincinnati, the playoff odds for the bills jumps to 95%

I want KC out.

Yea, any claim that we need to go 12-5 to make the playoffs is insane.  11-6 will be totally fine.

I'm rooting for whatever scenario makes it less likely for us to play in Houston for Wild Card Weekend.

I don't know, I'd feel pretty confident in the 2nd matchup. That loss was a learning lesson for the coaching staff. A lesson they immediately instituted the following week against Pittsburgh. If the offense had done the exact same thing against Houston - pound the rock, pass almost exclusively to TEs and RBs, ball out of Allen's hands in 2 seconds, extra blockers on every play - we probably win that game. I have no doubt that will be the gameplan if we face them in the playoffs. I'd also add, take the points AKA kick FGs at every opportunity. No team is beating Houston throwing the ball all over the field. So our offense's weakness in a weird way neutralizes their strength. They're maybe the only team in the NFL where our small ball philosophy is actually the best approach to beat them. You don't need to win a shootout, just outlast their offense.

I personally agree with you. I just think they'll be in a better head space once they get that 1st championship out of the way before they play KC again. KC missing the playoffs helps a ton.

We can knock Cincinnati out too this Sunday

Madness to want KC in

There is 4 years of evidence that this ain't good news for us

And two of those years we were better than them (2024) or played as well as we possibly can (2021) - and still lost. One of them at home

Rather play the Texans all day long, tough to beat the same team twice in the same season (see Bills regular season vs Chiefs)

I think we roll vs Texans in a play off scenario - home or on the road

I hate to say this, never thought I would, but gotta pull for KC over Houston this weekend with the possibility of the Bills laying a turd against the Bengals (big possibility). We are two games up on KC and hold the tie breaker where the Bills are only one up on Houston but they own the tie breaker. A Bills loss and Texans win knocks the Bills out of the last playoff spot. Unless the Chargers or Colts lose. The Bills 3 losses in the AFC (2 in division) are killers. A fourth AFC loss starts putting the nail in the coffin. I don't see the Bills wining out so if they're going to lose one it has to be the Philly game (hate to say it).

Nail in the coffin for what? Win 3 games out of their last 5 and the Bills are in. The Colts aren't getting to 11 wins and if Houston beats KC then the max the Chiefs can win is 10. I think whichever team loses the Houston - Kansas City game there is good news for the Bills.

Now if the Bills were to only go 2-3 down the stretch and end up at 10-7 that is when they are in a bun fight. But even then we need the Chiefs to be 10-7 too for the tiebreaker to matter, so them losing to Houston still helps. I do think 10-7 with 2 more AFC losses would be a problem for the Bills though. Having played with a few scenarios I struggle to get them in with only 10 wins.... it is possible, but it is not super likely.

Both 2021 and 2024 were at KC. 2023 was the home game when our D was decimated with injuries. We still had the chance to win that at the end and couldn't get it done.

It's almost impossible for them to miss at 11-6. As I say 10-7 is dicey.

10-7 will also very likely be fine if one of those losses is the Eagles

As far as i can tell even just beating Browns / Jets puts us near enough in

Roger Federer's career Grand Slam required someone else to take out Rafa Nadal at the French Open. Liverpool's 2019 Champions League required someone else to deal with Real Madrid. There are examples littered throughout sport of a nearly team needing someone else to deal with their big bad foe to get them over the line the first time.

I don't think this Bills team can win a Superbowl as it happens.... too many injuries, too flawed in critical areas. But if they did and someone else knocks of KC literally nobody will care. History certainly won't.

Hmm, I have 10-7 with wins v CLE and NYJ as dicey. You need the other contenders to all canabalise one another.... which could happen, but isn't a guarantee.
