Taking points off the board to run shotgun from the one is pretty much always a terrible idea. If there is no qb sneak threat, the offense is likely to lose on 2 pt conversion attempts.

Why couldn’t they just make it 17-10.  Why the risk to make it 17-11? their offense just isn’t that good to punch in the two pointer. Now they are forced to go for 2 if they get in position just to tie it

They'd maybe already decided that they'd go for two late to win or lose the game, so they went for it now just to know ahead of time what they needed down the road?

I’ll buy the reasoning.  i wouldn’t do it. But then again I’m conservative with this stuff and would take the points and FGs until i need to start taking chances.

Whenever the NFL world thinks the light went on for Bryce, he reverts back to sucking and looking like a tiny little guy on the field.  Maybe he plays better away from structure and when he does stuff on instinct more than scripted play calls.
