Those of you thinking the current regime is going to suddenly wake up and install a completely different strategy are kidding yourselves. It ain’t gonna happen. Coaches get entrenched in what they do and they’re extremely reluctant to change. They’re no different than any of us are at our jobs. I cannot tell you how many years I gave really good employees advice at their annual review only to find myself saying the exact same thing the very next year. It’s normal. Thanks, you're making a really good point there as well. It takes a certain level of ego and arrogance to be a coach at that level, you have to believe that your scheme and installment of that scheme is the right decision. There's no room for doubt in high pressure situations. The likelihood that they will make a 180 and be introspective on their decision tree is hard for me to believe, and that's okay. Maybe with a slightly different personnel and a slightly different opponent you would have gotten the job done and won a SB. That's not the way the chips fell though. I'm not even mad. Frustrated, sure, but I appreciate what they've done for the Bills. No hard feelings, but let's make a change. Quote

I really hate the fact that we don't have a normal NFL franchise hierarchy. What needs to happen is for Beane to force McDermott to get a whole new staff, like what Roseman did to Sirianni before the 2024 season. Before that, we was calling offensive plays and the DC was an internal hire. But because the HC is above the GM in the organizational hierarchy, who is going to force any changes? Who would fire him, for that matter? Pegula? He doesn't seem to care. 1 Quote
RunTheBall Posted 7 minutes ago Posted 7 minutes ago Watching most of the other games today, it is so obvious how bad our coaching is compared to other teams, and I include McD in that. Brady is god awful and needs to be fired. He had a scheme that worked last year and made no adjustments to it this year. He just ran the exact same scheme back and has no ability to adjust during the game. I can think of 8 OCs that I watched today that Brady isn’t even in the same galaxy as, and that includes some that lost. It’s one thing if the scheme is sound and the players don’t execute. Our problem is that the scheme doesn’t work, teams know EXACTLY what we are doing, and our entire offense is based on Josh making Super Josh off script plays. We need a complete house cleaning from GM to water boy. It won’t happen. Pegula is just happy to be competitive, along with 90% of our team. I’m really sick of fkn Dawkins and his Shnowman crap. Calling out Keon then giving up on play after play and having the most false starts in the league. STFU until you actually start playing well you fat tub of goo. Quote

Imagine we retained Mack hollins and also picked up George Pickens instead of Palmer and Moore. Imagine how much better this offense would be That is so prophetic. I just watched Pickens make an amazing catch against Philly. And Hollins is a big cog in the Pats offense. it’s like Beane purposefully wants a trash roster. Is he really this bad in talent evaluation and roster construction? You got the QB. You have a very good RB. Yet you can’t find any impact receivers or defensive players. (The NFL is a league of speed and athleticism. And we draft Keon Coleman) How is that possible? Our D line gets no pass rush year after year. Every team has guys that can rush the passer. We have none. What are we doing? We have no receivers and no studs on defense it is beyond frustrating. Quote
