Who do we want, who do we need as our next HC and, or GM?

Bruce Coslet is still alive at the ripe young age of 79. Why not him? Bruce Ariens is only 73.

Any promising HCs in college? I dont watch College FB except for Cuse and I want nothing to do with anyone from there for coaches. 

 

How about Kingbury for OC? He had Daniel's balling last year. I like many on this board dont think Pegs will fire McD this year.

In terms of coaching I'm not looking to replace McDermott but guys on my long term radar that could be inline do could be the next crop are Klint Kubiak, Shane Day Marcus Brady and/or Cam Turner when looking for offensive minded. I can't suggest defensive minded as haven't done any diving on that side of the ball yet.

Doug wanted him and fought hard for him to be hired.

It was the first and only time in his tenure as GM that Pegula gave him who he wanted as a HC.

Whoever it is, make sure they are not satisfied by simply reaching the playoffs. Get rid of “playoff caliber” and bring in “championship or bust”

Ryan Day, but we'd probably lose to the Lions every time we played them. They keep putting the Notre Dame coach Marcus Freeman in the lists for the Giants opening, so that might be an option. But he makes a ton at ND.

As much as I think we need to start over in the FO its just not happening Kevyn Adams is on 6 years of the most insane failure in pro sports... Beane is not getting fired and Beane isn't firing McD.... JMO

My answer is Gruden. I think if he hires a competent OC, he would be able to bring Josh back to the Josh that we all know and have seen dominate the NFL. He definitely would not give Josh the weapons he has now, and if he inherited the guys we do have now, I'm certain that he could squeeze a little bit more production out of them then this current staff is. Just his firey attitude would contribute more than this Xanax crew is giving us.

 

What HC/ GM combo do you all suggest? Realistic duos please.

 

 

 

If Gruden is a part of the Bills organization, I’ll take some time off from anything Bills related. He was mad that his emails were released. Guess what! He should really be upset that he is the person he exposed as the author of those emails.

 

I’ve also had personal experience from when our kids used to have 7 on 7’s in high school. He’s a ^&%$. Also, it seemed most of the Bu’cs hated him from his days there when he won with Tony Dungy’s team because the Raiders were too stupid and or lazy to change their signals before a Super Bowl. 

 

Rex is an idiot, but he does not personally offend me the way Gruden does.

IMO, it simply has to be an offensive-minded head coach.  No more defensive geniuses who have to cycle through offensive coordinators every year or two…

I don’t want a new GM. I think we have good players. I think the issue is coaching. I don’t really want to reinvent the wheel and as unpopular as it sounds, I like Brady. My only wish is for a new voice in the defensive room. If it was up to me I’m promoting Brady to HC. I want an established DC that preferably has HC experience to just fix this mess. A dream scenario is Wade Philips. That’s probably not realistic. I want a guy in that mold. Was a HC and has a history of excellent defenses. I want nothing that has to do with any philosophy that McDermott has ever touched. I want fast and physical, man aggressive Defense.  If the Brady ship has sailed, I’d be interested in a guy that has already won. Belicheck or Gruden. I’m not going to get another HC that is a lateral move. I either want one of the top end guys or I’ll stay the course with Brady and hire the best DC available. We are really close. A slight change in defensive coaching can get us over the hump. I know it
