I thought fighting for the division title might have meant something. There are just too many games now. Wait until the Greedopolists get their 18th game. We'll see three and four game streaks where teams mail it in. Getting enough wins for the playoffs and keeping your best players healthy is what matters now.

The game plan of the New York Islanders during their successful Cup runs in the 1980s.

AJE was out, Bosa was playing with a club, DJ had to play some snaps at edge, Landon Jackson goes down, plus McD loves to rotate on the DL. To me this is a giant nothing burger concocted by the mass hysteria that is TBD after a Bills loss.

I also think for first time to me it seems they play down to opponents and don’t hit another gear until they need to or it it’s to late. In the chiefs games bills showed being laser focused and play with urgency from kickoff to end. I just haven’t seen that in other games. Bills looked shot yesterday. No urgency on offense until 4th quarter.

#1 seeds win 50% of the Super Bowls since the league expanded to 14 playoff teams.  The regular season matters more than ever.

The sad thing is that our coaching staff is really probably taking every game seriously and these are the results that we're getting.........hitching their wagons, doubling-down and going all-in on this zero talent roster, "everybody eats" nonsense.

I think they also keep injured guys out who could probably play but to whom they want to give an extra week's rest. "It's okay, we're only playing (bad team)."

Don't think the players aren't picking up on this and assuming the game will be a cakewalk.

This is exactly the stupid ***** people say on this forum all the time. Before the Miami game people were talking about keeping Bosa on the sideline instead of him playing with a club on his hand. The Bills can’t afford that in freaking division game. The other hilarious one is not running Josh until the playoffs. What a joke. You give 100% every game and play your best players unless your seeding is wrapped up.

The defense still played well. Holding Miami to 16 points for most of the game.

It was the offense that hurt this team.

The team is almost certainly doing this right now. You can tell that Allen has been told not to take off running. I get it to some degree (he did hurt himself immediately last season running the ball), but I also agree with you that you can't just assume you'll end up with a favorable playoff seeding.

I don’t know if this is the right thread for this question, but listening to how McD and Beane answer questions from the media (usually with distain) has me wondering……Who do these 2 answer too at OBD? On paper it’s Pegula but do they actually have to sit down and get asked hard questions internally? By anyone? Terry is clueless.

The arrogance they give off and “that’s fair” statements when answering questions from the media make me think these guys run the show unilaterally. Of course these questions are fair, we have eyes and can see the problems and it’s our job to point it out and to make sure you recognize them as well!!!

The 49ers and Kyle Shanahan stated clearly they won’t put players back in that are recovering from injury. Their plan is to get them back in when they are healthy. I think that’s a good strategy.

The Bills could very easily fall to 6-4 next Sunday. If they are truly doing that then they are flirting w/ disaster. The AFC is gonna be a dog fight until the very end, one win could be the difference.
