Which goes to show how poorly built this core is. The problem now is that we needed them plus Kincaid, our clear top option downfield, is down with a hamstring. So even when we get those guys in - it's one step forward, one step back. I feel like when those 2 come back healthy it’s going to have a Hoecht like effect on the passing game. We need experienced vets in there that know what to do especially when things break down. Quote

I think he’s got something to prove after the whole Jax fiasco. Bills are 6-3, I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt after a rough Chiefs game, but their stock has taken a hit after this game. Time to throw ***** at the wall and see if it sticks. 😂😂If Gabe Davis is the answer you need to be asking different questions 1 Quote

He needs somebody that can run effective routes on the outside and get open deep. What we have is so below mediocre that even an average guy like Gabe Davis is going to shine. Besides Shakir who else is there ? Quote

They can't provide less than 2/3 of Samuel, Shavers, and Moore (who they'll be replacing). But we had Palmer in this lineup and still had issues getting open. If we still had Kincaid on the field and added Palmer and Davis, i'd feel like that's a better situation. Still wasn't going to light the world on fire or have a "Hoecht like effect" on the Offense. But we'd be able to do more and possibly move from a passing game akin to eating out of a dumpster to getting fast food. But Palmer and Davis minus Kincaid? I think we're pretty much back to square one. Would love to be wrong, but Kincaid was our top passing option and the only guy who could get open with any sort of small consistency. Quote
Bruffalo Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago Gabe Davis coming back is Duke Williams 2.0. Nobody is going to change my mind on that. Quote
transplantbillsfan Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Sadly, this is true. He always excelled in the scramble drill Quote

Most of us remember having to be on a little team, where the coaches bosses kid had to pitch, and every kid knew they were going to lose. Well we have seen McD sit a top pick at corner because he was not getting it together, you have to do what is best for the team. Beane deserves his flowers for the gems he has found in the draft, but he has had a lot of early round whiffs too. I was a bit worried that Elam would transform into a stud somewhere else.... From a recent news article, "Cowboys' decision to trade for Kaiir Elam has backfired spectacularly. A bad player playing poorly every week? Who could've seen this coming? Elam's coverage is a problem in and of itself, but I'm not sure I've seen a cornerback display worse run fits than Elam did against the Broncos. It's baffling he's made it to this point as a football player with how allergic he is to tackling. He finished the game with a 27.4 run-defense grade, per PFF. While the defensive line and linebackers had a brutal day at the office, Elam was also responsible for multiple big runs simply because he took the wrong angle. He doesn't belong on the field, but the Cowboys also didn't have any alternatives." Quote
BillMafia716ix Posted 2 minutes ago Posted 2 minutes ago If Gabe is healthy he can give us more than what Coleman is giving us right now. At least he has history and chemistry with Josh. We desperately need Palmer back Quote
