True, but St. Francis is breathing down their necks for most overall.  Canisius 9, St. Francis 8 although I couldn’t confirm if 8 included the 2025 championship, so maybe tied😂

Current JR at Canisius HS... A 4 star top 15 ranked running back nationally with offers from Ohio State and Michigan and Georgia and basically everybody 

 

Been watching in the last 3 years and this kid is showing that big time players can come out of Western New York without transferring to a ohio or Pennsylvania school

to be fair to the rest of the state, 247sports has only 2 NYS players ranked so far in NYS....for 2027--that's where this kid is "#1".

 

247sports  ranks prospects by their graduating class, not by how they are currently performing.

247 does not carry every single division one prospect in New York with a scholarship offer 

 

If you look at 2026 they still have only like 7 guys on it 

 

There are more than 7 players with scholarships in New York 

 

 as a scout I also am subscribed to services like prepstar and he is the number one player 2027 ny

 

Elijah Kimball is the number one player in New York state class of 2027 according to 247 ESPN rivals prep star, 

 

He's in the top 200 National right now, the closest New York State player is probably 350 

 

Elijah Kimball might rise in the rankings as a senior
