Any TBDers know of  other D lineman that returned from the same injury?

Terrel Suggs was sort of similar to Hoecht in that he could play both DE and LB and his strength was as a pass rusher.

He tore both of his Achilles' a few years apart and came back from both as pretty much the same guy.

He was also a freak of nature though. 🤷‍♂️

Of all the injuries we have this year, this one leaves the biggest void IMO.  I felt like he was the potential difference maker.

100% agree with this. So, so smart, putting his teammates in the right place to make plays, and extremely athletic. He was definitely the spark plug that made our D look rejuvenated these last two games.

McD said he was a tone setter his 1st game back

I believe that even more after he remained with his Teammates for the Win.

He and J Bosa might have been Beane's surprises and possibly answers.

Hope he can rehab at OBD with the boys

Thanks for the comp! I’m more optimistic about Hoecht’s prognosis now. Suggs did have a partial tear in May of 2012 and returned that October, after just five months.
In the 2015 ravens’ opener he, like Hoecht suffered a full achilles tear. That injury ended Suggs’ season, but he returned week one of 2016. That season he started 15 game and recorded 4 PD, 3 FF, 8 sacks, and 11 TFL. He was 33 at the time. Hoecht is 28.
