How the holy hell the 49ers seem to be a Super Bowl contender ever other year or even still looking dangerous dealing with their QB situation, injuries, dead money, terrible trades and drafts has to be one of the greatest magic tricks ever

They did a massive reset with releasing older veterans like we did before last season.  They let Samuel, Greenlaw, Ward, Hardgrave, and Floyd go.  They draft well and coach well.  Getting Saleh back was huge for them.  Plus, Shanahan imo is the best coordinator in the NFL.

For everyone crying about Brandon Beane lately -- how angry are you that Cook is locked up for $11.5M a year for the next 4 years?

Yeah, I think he would’ve got his $15M/yr had he waited until the 2026 offseason. If not here, then elsewhere.

We have the worst cap situation in the league with very little elite talent outside of Cook and Allen.

You don’t have 245 total yard rushing without it being a team effort.

Don’t blink now, but the Bills are quietly the #1 running attack in the NFL! Who would’ve thought that going into week 9?

Hitting the market as a UFA in 2026, $15M would have been his bottom floor.

You're right - the run-blocking has been phenomenal. Beane deserves a tip of the cap for putting that together.

Our OL and RB are elite right now in the league: the key to this game is dominating the LOS bc we don’t match up in the skill positions. Also Josh’s legs. I think it’s possible at home but losing Oliver is just a huge blow. But if we can push them around in the trenches they’ve never been great at stopping the QB run when facing the Bills

I think the key to this game comes down to our pass defense.  They looked good last week… but that’s because Dalton was slow and hesitant.  Mahomes won’t be.   I have a feeling we’re going to try and control the game with a running attack.  While the Chiefs are going to go to the air looking for big chunks.
