He said the same thing about Zach Wilson once. Something to the effect of "We didnt have a backup QB this year" after Rodgers went down.

 

Its a bad way to run a team IMO. Shows a lack of respect to the players and personal people who work for you. Much more diplomatic to say "it didnt work out like we planned". Glenn picked Fields as his starter, so if Glenn was wrong on this and the owner says it publicly, he is undermining his 0-7 HC.

Giants may have something in those 2.  But their HC is a dunce.  
 

Saddled with a sad sack QB?  This is the roster Glenn chose to roll with before the season started.  Unlike the giants, his team is completely lifeless.  That’s on him.

When a new management team comes in, you can't look at any prior years as any evidence of what their plan is.. They want their own young guy as their QB, not some guy in his 30s. There have to be better options in the draft than Cousins, especially when you consider the salary cap. Cousins is 37 years old, if they wanted to wheel out an old guy, they would have kept Rodgers.

“their own young guy”…turned out to be Justin Fields!  That alone is a fireable Offense.  He’s a huge bust and you bring him in to be your starter??

 

the old guy Rodgers threw 28 TDs on that team last year and he’s tied for 4th with 14 after 6 games on the Steelers.

 

this is how you rebuild? With Fields and Taylor as your QBs?  Now they can overdraft another QB next year to throw into that toilet?
