Genuinely thank you for the context, I'd notice some... trends in who seemed to be upset about the selection but I had no idea what had generated it.  We just had baby #3, and my MIL has a rough outlook with cancer so there's been a lot on the plate.

Since what I want isn't commercial or realistic, I just skip the halftime show and use that time to do old man things like visiting the bathroom.   I'm fine with Bad Bunny because I'll be sitting on my throne reading a book when he performs.

I'm very sorry to hear Avisan. Not that it should make you feel better but many people I know right... close loved ones... are beset with serious health issues.

 

I hope the levity here brings you some relief from the cares and worries. 👍

I quit watching the NBA altogether because of this at long time ago when Michael Jordon and Charles Barkley were still playing.

 

I still watch NFL even though I think games are massaged by officiating because I can't help it.  I'm addicted.

 

I appreciate baseball more and more as it seems the most on the up and up of US professional sports leagues.
