You can’t vote if you are not a citizen. Mags pud

I will take your word for it.

Maryland lawmakers are calling for answers after claiming an Iowa superintendent who was arrested by immigration officers is still listed as an active voter in Maryland.

Dr. Ian Roberts, a former Baltimore principal, is accused of overstaying his visa, according to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officials.

According to the Maryland Freedom Caucus, Roberts is listed as an active voter under Maryland's online voter lookup tool.

As you are a republican, I imagine this bothers you.

Rare is true. 15 known instances in Michigan. Just further pointing out your wrongness.

I’m sure that you don’t like this situation since you are a republican.

Are you really being so naive to say that of the 10’s of millions of illegals, its only happened once?

Let me guess, there are no illegal aliens driving too huh?

Other than cleaning their houses and cutting their lawns what use do well-to-do liberals have for illegals? They're certainly not going to invite them to live in their neighborhoods. But they can be used to enhance the census counts for establishing population numbers used for the allocation of electoral votes and districts to the States and for juicing the vote count with non-citizen voters in favor of their sponsors in the party. That's a major reason why they're fighting tooth and nail to keep them in the country. The entire we care about people angle is complete BS.

Just like Stephen Miller said when he ripped the liberal media, he couldn’t pay them to live next to these illegals.

Peace Deal happens, silence.  I thought that’s what they wanted?

I mean, how are you arguing this?

In MN, you can get a drivers license regardless of immigration status.

He was asked the follow up question to confirm or clarify, they asked that a person who presents this drivers license has permission to vote.

"Someone who is not a citizen but presents a drivers license could be permitted to vote?" - That was the question that was asked.

The Rep who spoke on this bill confirmed it with a long answer.

What exactly are you arguing?

This bill was passed in 2023 so you can review board of election reports of voter fraud and see how many Minnesota illegals committed the federal crime of voter fraud.

Non-citizens are not allowed to vote and none of these laws gave them this right.  It simply allowed illegals to obtain non-federal driver's licenses in hopes to prevent dangerous and illegal driving.

There is a big difference between MN's automatic voter registration, which involves thorough vetting, and election day voter precinct registration.  The weak point in election day precinct registration is that you must provide ID and proof of residency, but only sign a binding attestation form that you are a legal voter and not committing a federal crime.

Ok.  Let me ask you this.  How does it make sense that an illegal, who is trying to make money, live, most often find a path to legal status and/or maintain residency, and most often has poor English skills (especially reading and writing), wants to risk exposing themselves to deportation by trying to fraudulently vote?  In massive numbers??

Because the legal, non-citizen immigrants that I know hate having to submit to any government check of their identities.  How are illegals driven in the opposite direction to shine a light on themselves while knowingly committing this federal crime?

https://dps.mn.gov/divisions/dvs/license-and-id/dl-all

The Driver’s License for All initiative expanded the accepted types of documentation required for Minnesotans to receive a standard driver’s license or identification (ID) card. Passed in 2023, Minnesota joined 18 other states, including the District of Columbia and Puerto Rico, to allow a standard driver’s license to be issued without proof of immigration status.

Automatic Voter Registration:   https://www.sos.mn.gov/elections-voting/register-to-vote/automatic-voter-registration/

Automatic voter registration is called automatic because of its convenience for applicants. In fact, the process of registering someone to vote under this new law is complex and involves multiple points of human verification.

Since there is a 20-day opt-out period and a verification process, voter registration may take 4-6 weeks from when a person first applies for their state-issued ID. Minnesotans can check their voter registration status online.

Who can vote in Minnesota:

To vote you must be:

A U.S. citizen

At least 18 years old on Election Day (16 & 17 year olds can pre-register)

A resident of Minnesota for 20 days

Not currently incarcerated for a felony conviction

Not under a court order that revokes your right to vote
