The Refs and this “rigged” league

The NHL is easily worse than the NFL. I don't think the bad calls are randomly distributed so that it all evens out in the end. You're free to think otherwise.

The officiating thing is not even a conspiracy at this point anymore though. You can see it all over the place. It's also pretty crazy how certain teams are the beneficiaries of these types of calls, or lack thereof, seemingly game in and game out. It's also crazy how some teams get the short end of the stick in a lot of those instances. It's even being called out by announcers and analysts alike.

 

I'm in total agreement, especially on the 2nd part....while 99% of the nation is sick of the KC favoritism, they ignore how the Raiders & Browns get screwed routinely.

The reason I am posting this is I remember a few years back the Lions got screwed on a similar play but they called the player down before completing the catch and therefore the TD did not count. Just consistently inconsistent

You will not see a playoff game with 11 TOTAL penalties let alone 11 on one team.  Yea they threw some on NE in the 2nd half but that doesn’t mean they couldn’t “fix it” later.

 

 

THEY THREW A FLAG ON THE FINAL KICK RETURN.  That was just in case we returned it for a TD.  

 

Holding calls that were beyond questionable and will NEVER be called in January.  
 

Our WRs NEVER are interfered with.  Amazing considering how much man we see.  
 

NE never held on ANY passes - did I miss one?   
 

 

This isn’t a “blame the refs” for the loss either.  You can take it that way but we had a chance to win.  Then Shakir got mugged and the network did a great job showing why that wasn’t a DPI.  Total joke.  
 

Not a blame the refs.  You just won’t convince me otherwise that when this league needs something done for a team it will get done.

I'm still shaking my head at that "catch" made by Noah Gray, the guy never had full possession of the ball (don't give me that ball never hit the ground stuff) nor made a football move yet did the refs just give it to him because of the concussion he suffered?

Rigged no, swayed by refs maybe. We've seen it in baseball and basketball so why is it hard to believe that the nfl wouldn't have some of it in there?

This is why I doubt football can be rigged like Basketball, or baseball even, no one player can win or lose game individually, except a QB. The officials I would believe are corrupt but at this point stick with simply incompetent

This was a joke of a call, the TB player had a knee down with the ball in his arms. That should have been the end of it. The mistake he made was reaching forward with his arms out which made the ripping out by the defender possible. But the play was dead. As you said called different ways by different crews.

That was the correct call , otten didn't have control of the ball at the point the knee was down
