I really dont know, but given there's a nine page thread about the pick of him tells me SOMETHING is. Then again, the only "bad bunny" I know of is the one I squashed on the bike path a few weeks ago with the front wheel of my Enve. 😶

 

If I may, however I find the pick of someone who sings in only Spanish to be an odd pick. Not in some sort of a jingoistic "speak English or shut up" sort of way...just in a "mass appeal" way. Im a promotion/marketing man and I just go by "appeal to the biggest audience possible always" mantra and I dont think this pick does that. Then again, I was really digging "Despacito" when I was down 10 pina colada's at the Punta Cana Hard Rock's central pool this winter, so there's that.

actually, the controversial part for many is that he is not an artist that caters to the fanbase of the football product.

 

to me it's a bad call and therefore controversial because i'd prefer anyone who doesn't suck. it's a football game and not a publicity stunt for the artist.

People really worked themselves into a lather when Shakira performed during the half time show.  Literally, speaking of course.  

 

Bad Bunny was actually a guest during her set.  Now hes back.

I didn't realize that he was there and have been meaning to listen to a song or two of his. He did an amazing job in happy gilrmore 2, also.

I simply dread this halftime show because it’s going to bring out the worst instincts in our society. Half the audience is going to be enraged it’s a halftime show in Spanish. The other half are going to brag about being beacons of culture because they spoke Spanish in South America on vacation, and the “haters” aren’t as brilliant as them.

Well that would just be called a look at me mentality which from afar is sad lol

 

Sure America is a melting pot, my family came here from Poland and Germany within the last 80 years 

 

And they assimilated, learned English.. love America 

 

Like most of all the immigrants who come here 

 

If you don't look for all the hateful comments online you don't see them , just a heads up.. I don't listen to bad Bunny's music, but my pants are not in a tizzy that he's at the halftime show 

 

It's a show for entertainment, if you don't like it don't watch
