Bills are 3-0 with a 2 game lead in the division and they just got a "mini-bye" to help with their injury issues. They head into a home game against one of the worst teams in the league on extra rest. They gotta get Ed and Milano healthy and get the PED Twins and Mad Max back. The few extra days off and the semi-early bye in week 7 should help with that. The Bills for now gotta just keep piling up the wins and knock on wood not get any major injuries. One week at a time...

None of this matters, as soon as Rice and Worthy return the Chiefs will be unbeatable. I read it on the internet and saw it on TV.

Really is insane that people think Rice will just walk back on the field after a year, coming off a serious knee injury and just be like it's Madden where he is right back to exactly the same player.  Typically the first year back for a player after an ACL is not great and they look like a shell of their former self, whether that is due to explosiveness not fully back yet, them still being afraid to push it as hard as normal because they still hear and feel "weird" things like pops from scar tissue being broken up, or that they haven't had a training camp to get back in the flow of things and get on the same page with the QB, etc.

Coming back in the 2nd year after a full off-season and training camp to get back in shape where they aren't focused more on rehab instead of actual training is when things typically get back to normal. Have seen this time and time again, this should not be a surprise to anyone when it happens.  It would be more of a surprise if he came back and looked like the same player this year.

Also I would argue that even if KC's offensive issues are alleviated by Rice coming back and Worthy being healthy the larger issue for KC is that their defense while good might not be as elite as it once was thanks to Chris Jones declining slightly and an erosion of talent elsewhere. KC's offense can improve but if they are not gonna have an elite defense it's gonna be an issue.

H2H against Baltimore

Houston 0-3

Chiefs 1-2 and not looking great

Bengals 2-1 but now Burrowless.

If the top 4 seeds come playoff time are Buffalo, Baltimore, Chargers and Colts man I will feel good about our chances.

I did not think they were going to be world beaters to any extent, but watching Houston has been like watching a trainwreck.  People thought the wheels had come off the Phins?  Wow with CJ and company.

Until I see otherwise as good as the Chargers are I believe the Colts could steal the 3 seed.  I think I might prefer it that way...

1.  Buffalo

2. Baltimore

3. Indy

4. Chargers

5. KC

6. Pittsburgh

7.  Denver (?)

If so...out don't know.  it would kind of stink the Ravens getting Indy in the Division Round and we get either the Chargers or Chiefs.

Oh, I'm sorry.  Maybe the Bengals are in there somewhere.  😄😆🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

😐

🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣(*)

(* hearing them talk about Browning this week was ridiculous)

I don't even know what this stems from. I guess I'm critical of the coaching, and that is apparently a huge affront to some people here, but you seem pretty upset at me for a guy who claims to champion positivity. Also, I'd like to reiterate that I don't even notice your posts.

This stems from me reading your posts and rolling my eyes at pretty much all of them.  Maybe I’m glossing over your “good posts” and not realizing that you posted them- if that’s the case, my apologies.

I usually read posts and then look at who posted them if I have a reaction to them.  In recent months, when I roll my eyes at a post irl, it’s either you or 5-6 other posters.  It’s very rare when it’s not one of you guys

They can definitely have the ball moved on them....Giants put up almost 300 yards and they looked about as bad as you could be on offense most of the night.

Fair enough. You are correct that the team is doing well, so there is a lot more reason to be positive than negative. I'll be open-minded and receptive to your criticism; nobody wants to be the Negative Nancy of any group.

But what about Worthy? He is the deep threat, he has four deep receptions!

He is the more annoying chain mover.

The Giants offense has only looked functional against the horrid Cowboys defense. KC's defense to me is their bigger issue. I think offensively they will get things together and be a consistently competent unit. I think they will add a RB via trade and maybe a WR if needed. But just looking at their defense and it is hard to see them making the additions they may need on offense and defense. I think we will get a better picture of who KC is after next week when they play the Ravens.

Providing no one touches him, I can’t recall any player being tackled more with one hand.

Based on the last 2 years outside the playoffs, I don't know about that. They have consistently way underperformed offensively with one of the best QBs at the helm for about 2 years now.

It would have been nice if, Hairtston, Oliver and Milano didn't get hurt.  I would have been good had we not signed two suspended players.

Not everything has gone perfectly.

Not to mention that 38-0 drubbing by the Bears in the preseason. That will come back to haunt us, mark my words....

They hold back a lot of their best stuff for the playoffs and they try to win games with an offense that is good enough. I think they can get their offense on track to be "good enough" but their defense has always been durable and if that's not gonna carry them while their offense figures it out that is a larger more fundamental issue.

Yeah I can kind of agree on that point but unless they also planned for teams to not execute fundamental plays at the end of game that typically have greater than 85% success rates which would have given them 3-4 extra L's last year, I'm not really sure that's all of it.  When the Bills do "just enough" they are still b!tch slapping teams by multiple TDs.

KC got extraordinarily lucky last year in one score games. But had KC had "normal" luck. They probably still win 12-13 games (remember they did bag the last game against the Broncos) even if they lose a few of those one score games. And that still probably nets them the 2 seed with the chance to rest in week 18 at a minimum.
