Bills1717 Posted September 22 Posted September 22 (edited) You feel bad for his family and no one deserves to die for their political beliefs but he just said some terrible things. "Black women do not have brain processing power to be taken seriously. You have to go steal a white person's slot." Per Swift & Kelce engagement: “This is something that I hope will make Taylor Swift more conservative,” he said. “Engage in reality more… Reject feminism. Submit to your husband, Taylor. You’re not in charge.” “If I see a Black pilot, I’m going to be like, ‘Boy, I hope he’s qualified.’” Kirk when quoted about pride month: “Thou shall lay with another man, shall be stoned to death. Just saying... The chapter...affirms God’s perfect law when it comes to sexual matter.” Kirk referred to the Civil Rights Act of 1964 as a mistake that had been turned into, quote, "an antiwhite weapon." Come on!l?!? He just wasn’t a great person. Edited September 22 by Bills1717 5 1

Bills1717 Posted September 22 Posted September 22 Lots of backlash but I’m open to hearing the other side. It’s going to take me a good bit of time to reply to all of it as I’m in the minority on this thread but I’ll try my best. Seems like the first argument was about the civil rights act. What was the motive? First, it was an incredibly inappropriate thing to say but it was a way to bait the argument into DEI. It actually wasn’t an argument about the principle of racial equality but more about how it destroyed cultural consequences. Which leads into his argument of DEI. He doesn’t want to see a black pilot because? If you review that video in more depth, he goes into says that’s not who I am, that’s not what I believe. Why did you say it then? Racism isn’t as obvious as it was 40 years ago but this is what it looks like now. Whether you’re black, white, Indian or any race, you have to go through the same number of hours to be a commercial pilot. There aren’t special points to be better than another person…it’s just a number of hours and if your instructor doesn’t think you’re qualified and passes you, then they can lose their license. DEI isn’t replacing white jobs…it’s getting people of color and gender into programs that they may not have been able to. Becoming a pilot is expensive and if you’re not privileged (mainly white), it’s a challenge. and did you know there is a need for pilots? So we’re not even replacing white jobs…we just need pilots. He was just a niceish dude but still racist, homophobic, and sexist. -Joe (white, male, straight, and a huge f’n Bills fan) 1

How much time have you actually spent listening to the person you call racist, homophobic, and sexist? Again, be honest please. Based on the cut-and-paste you’ve done with his truncated words, I would be willing to bet the truthful answer is “no time at all”.

I watched the Cambridge debate and he didn’t look great when he was arguing with smarter minds than undergraduates. Outside of that, I didn’t have too much of an interest. As much as you say I haven’t watched him, I hope you at least watched that because he doesn’t fair well.

What did you hear in the Cambridge debate that bothered you enough to declare the man homophobic, sexist, and racist?

It’s a made up scenario! “they got a bunch of morons and affirmative-action people. “ no they don’t! There is a huge need for more people regardless of color, gender or sexual orientation. They are working these people to the bone with old a$$ equipment…they are still using floppy drives! Again, he said terrible things and just made up crap to mask the racism. 3 minutes ago, Wacka said: Whose sock puppet is this? We've heard your BS from the tard rodeo for the last 4+ years Yikes! Tard rodeo? Apologies to anyone who has mentally challenged friends or family members on this thread. A lot of people claim to be Christian in this thread but let’s see how political loyalty will fall on deaf ears

Instead of listening to the guy and discussing his words in context, your sort just grabs some half sentences they read on bluesky and declares someone a homophobic racist. What prevents you instead from saying “I disagree with what he said, and here’s why”? You are clearly just another liberal that is unwilling to be honest. 1
